  • Trial Subscription scam

    By Eyerman
Signed up for what appeared to be a trial subscription, made multiple good faith attempts to cancel the subscription within 2 business days through Apple and through Business Insider. Unfortunately, after multiple email exchanges with Business Insider I'm stuck with an annual subscription for $49 that cannot be canceled. Very very misleading marketing - deceptive bait and switch business practice. Surprising Apple allows this to occur on their platform as this type of activity is ripe for a class action.
  • A shift away from objective quality

    By Ca5h
Over the past year, the once consistent BI seems to have shifted its editorial focus from quality business thinking to trashy tabloid fanaticism. A second star is only justified based on history. Readers need unbiased sources on critical business issues that present both sides of the story and allow the readers to draw conclusions, not this mainstream, politically influenced thinking that has dominated its focus.
  • I did not mean to purchase this

I did not mean to purchase this and cannot cancel it. Like within the last 1/2 hour of hitting the wrong button.
  • Hard to use, doesn’t warn you before renewal

    By BritLang
It’s difficult to use, in that you can’t search for the stories they post on Facebook (had to Unfollow for this reason, as their FB articles require a sign in & don’t toggle over to the app,) and also, if you look under your app subscriptions, it won’t be there. I only had 4 others. In fact, it also won’t email you as a reminder or warning about that $100 renewal. So, how are you to know when it’ll take money? Sketchy
  • To biased to be business news

To liberal and biased to be considered legitimate business news
  • Always a fan of the content…app GUI not so much

    By Slimgram
I have been a loyal follower pre-Bloomberg acquisition of Business Insider. It was a scrappy but an amazing producer of in-depth content and with the pulse of the news, especially technology and its ecosystem. What I don’t understand is why the app is so basic and UN-user friendly. I get the no frills because the content is so much bigger and primary..but if I can’t resume/refresh/retrieve bookmarks, the experience leaves me unfulfilled and looking elsewhere. Why does the bookmarking NEVER work? Please someone help this app!
  • Does not let you cancel!

    By Champ0506
I’m very familiar with how subscriptions work and this is the first time I’ve ever not seen an option anywhere under subscriptions to cancel. Please advise and I’ll change my review
  • Not free

    By Honeybunnybooboo
After installing and reading a few articles it cuts you off to subscribe. Lowest sub is $11…pathetic.
  • No news.

    By magicpunkmcfly
Can’t believe what counts as journalism these days and I barely graduated high school. Terrible editing. Opinions as facts. Facts as opinions. An opinion supported by facts is still an opinion and a factual article supported by opinions is still factual. I want all my money back. FRAUD.
  • Paid for Intro Offer - NO WAY TO UNSUBCRIBE

    By TheRealDCMarc
I’ve been dealing with tech support for five emails and they send me instructions that don’t match the current OS and when you do look at your Subscription there is absolutely no Unsubscribe button, just a notice that you will be charged full price the next year. If you click on the subscription options, you can choose Weekly, Monthly, Yearly; but you can’t Unsubscribe. I was the told to Unsubscribe via the App, but the App just takes your back to Subscriptions, so what was the point?
