    I have been using this app for a long time, but the latest release crashes instantly every time I try to use it. The app help leads to a “not found” page on their site and an email sent to a general email address was ignored. If they fix the app and contact me, I may change the rating, but for now, this app doesn’t work, so the rating is deserved.

    The biggest issue of all is that it on one recent trip, it could not find my confirmed flight despite TripIt, Flighty, United (the airline for the flight), Flightradar24, FlightAware all able to find my flight. I contacted support and they appreciated my ticket and also wanted screenshots of all flight tracking apps I use for that flight, and I obliged. No follow up from support after 10 days. Also, as of May 30, 2026, the app will not launch on my iOS 26.5 iPhone 15 Pro Max. Constantly crashes while it goes through its time-consuming launch screen sequence. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it still won’t launch. When it works and is able to find my flights, it works very well. I’ve canceled my premium subscription. I need 100% reliability in finding flights.

    I’ve had this app for quite some time and was always happy with it until now. Every time I open the app, it crashes. I’ve deleted and reinstalled it 3x and rebooted my iPhone each time. No change. I attempted to get support from the developer and that was not possible. My subscription expires in April 2027 so I’m out of luck as I have a useless dead app.

  • Great for Frequent Flyers

    I utilized the previous free version of Flight Tracker for many years during my airline pilot career and frequent travels on numerous airlines. Although I’m disappointed the free version no longer works, this paid version has enough important information like current flight status and gate information , along with the convenience of automatic flight updates, flight progress (available even in flight with airplane mode enabled), airport terminal maps, weather, etc. This app is well worth the money if you are a frequent flyer and wish to be informed.
