Horrible app. And instead of fixing it when their IT is aware of the many issues and says they’re working on it, they just add ads to pop up.

I’ve been using this app for weeks now, but today, I suddenly can’t sign in - the app won’t recognize my email as an existing account user and prompts me to make a new account (have uninstalled/reinstalled and restarted phone 2x). The desktop website confirms I still have an account active. Also, it’s a huge oversight that alert sounds are not available on iOS - “badges” is the only available notification. Please fix these bugs!

App data doesn’t match website data. Manual pushes are required for synchronization. They made updates to the platform and paying customers are their as beta users. They half cooked updates have no ability to roll back.

Our softball league moved to this platform and while creating events and viewing calendar on the desktop version has been a nice addition to the previous platform, I have been unable to log in to mobile for days (it keeps thinking I’m a new user) so no mobile capability (I need to be able to have this while I’m at the field!). In addition it’s a huge oversight that when creating a roster I can only add ONE email for the athlete. Newsflash: some kids have two parents who want to stay informed and in some cases those parents aren’t living in the same house. I do t want to trust one parent to go in and add the other’s email to allow them to rsvp, message, etc. ALSO….no capability to add the player in as a contact? We use Heja for another sport and I can message all parents and players at the same time if I need to…these girls are old enough they all have the app on their phones and don’t need mommy and daddy reporting if they’re running late or not coming. SportsEngine should be a sitcom on NBC because it’s such a joke.

This app is clunky at best. The login hangs up and doesn’t allow for smooth onboarding. Very very frustrating.

This app functions well, despite some slow load times. The biggest issue with this app is viewing schedules. There is no calendar view, and no way to sort games/practices. So if you want to look further out than a week, you have to sift through multiple events to find something on a certain day. The older version of the app was much easier to view events, more importantly future events.

You used to be able to copy a link for each team calendar and import it into your personal calendar. This is necessary for those of us (all of us?) with multiple kids/teams so we color code each person's events. With the new sports engine, the parent has a dashboard containing all teams and we a single link is supposed to 'sync' the calendars (spoiler alter- this link doesn't work). Not only that, but if it did work, all events would be bulk imported into my calendar as belonging to only one person (or all of us). There's no way to differentiate. I hate improvements that aren't improved. Bring back the old version while you work out the kinks for this beta version (which you shouldn't have made live yet).

This app should be an embarrassment to NBC. How they can put their logo on it is beyond me. ** yay- our team is moving to a new platform! I can finally delete this app. Coaches - please find something else to use chats that don’t work right. Auto log out all the time. Message notifications but then can’t read them. Randomly saying I’m not a member of any teams. Photos that you can’t enlarge or download. Notifications that I have 287 messages when I have 2. I have never used an app with more bugs. Our team started sending emails as backups.

This app allows NBC notifications without any way of configuring them in the app. I have to turn off notifications entirely so NBC doesn’t send me ads for their programming, of which I have no way of opting out of. Not allowing someone to opt of of notification spam is a terrible decision. If you want to manage a team, there are better app ecosystems to use.
