Don’t waste your money, worst of the worst. No results and have to keep paying. Won’t refund you either.

So far 100% of the women I’ve matched with have been scammers in the one month that I’ve been on this app. They are the worst kind of pig butcher scammers. Many are obviously fake but they use pictures that are legit too. Be very careful they are using A.I. to translate believable responses. They leave small clues around so you need to look into everything closely. Just stay away it’s crazy bad.

One of the worst apps I’ve used. Lots of bots and fake profiles. I had my account for almost 1 year and followed all the rules, but tried to log in recently only to find my account was blocked. Never had issues with any of the few real people on the app and was always respectful so there was absolutely no reason for my account to be banned. Anyway, it’s a terrible app, so I wouldn’t bother with it. Hardly any real people actually use it.

Every match a scam

Tried this years ago, had decent results. Hopped back on and unfortunately it looks like scammers are really into this app. I reported at least 12 fake profiles in under 3 hours. You’d think they’d have staff that looks for things like that. Whatevs. Romance scams are the wave of the future. Dating apps need to have better ways to verify users.

Probably not as bad as Bumble and Tinder with your data, but the user base is non-existent. Over 2 million people in the metro area and most nearby profiles are people ‘visiting’ and have the same scammy profile pics as numerous Bumble and Tinder profiles. Those who appear to be real are over an hour away.

It takes seconds to throw up a pic and make an account and there is little in the way of verification, so he app is FILLED with fake accounts trying to get you to go to snap and IG camgirl pages. New ones using the same pics pop up as soon as you report them and happn does absolutely nothing to block these users and prevent them from making new catfishing accounts. This would be an easy fix but doesn’t seem like the dev team wants to bother with it

Happn used to be pretty good because there were real people on here and you could meet them. Now it’s overrun with bots and scammers. The likelihood of matching with a real person here has become low. And Happn keeps asking me if it’s OK to track me everywhere. Yeah, right. It’s a complete waste of time to use this app now. I contacted support about this, and they pretend not to know anything about this problem, making claims that they work very hard to keep fake accounts off. While some other dating apps have figured out a way to keep the bots in check, the approach Happn has taken is to let them take over. Update: I tried again in 2024 and it’s just as bad as when I wrote this original. All of the recent reviews saying that it’s full of fakes and scammers are accurate. Whoever runs this app really does not care about the user experience.

The app functionality works well, but there are way too many fake profiles. I’m in a major metroplex and there are just not many people on the app. The idea of the app is great but you take these two things into consideration and it’s horrible. Definitely not worth spending any money on.
