I am a bilingual SLP and this app has been a great discovery for me to teach my preschool non-verbal Spanish clients the basics of AAC communication. To make it even more perfect I would like for the app to allow me to record the messages in Spanish using the animated pre made pictures which are so cute i.e. more, all done, yes, no, etc. As it is now I can only record messages in Spanish using my own pictures.

Great first AAC for my two year old with ASD. Please make this available on the iPhone so he can communicate more easily on the go.

We have a small child with Angelman Syndrome. This has been a wonderful app for him to communicate with us. Easy to use. We customize with our own photos and voice, yet they also have a wide variety of icon artwork we use as well. Thanks!

Now there is a problem when you try to customize and you scroll down to enable/disable a category the app closes.

After updating to iOS7, I wasn't able to tailor the app to the needs of my student. It took them a while, but they finally updated it! This is a wonderful app for those students who are just beginning to learn an AAC. You can add your own pictures, and move the pictures around as needed. At first I thought you could only have 1 or 8 pictures, but then realized that I could delete the number of pictures to get to the desired number of choices. For example, if I only want 4 choices, I can delete 4 pictures ( out of the 8 that show up) . How the student is able to transfer to another app when he gets older remains to be seen, but this will be a good start.

This would be perfect for a young child as stated. However there is no customization for new boards! It looks catchy and colorful but it us too generic for the student I intended to use it with. Still searching.

Since updating to iOS 7, you cannot customize the app. It will let you add and delete pictures but a white line appears when you try to save. Website contact page appears to be broken so this is the only way I have to send the message. None of the other communication apps are having issues. Please fix. Otherwise it's a 5 star app.

This app gave my son a voice during a recent circle time at preschool. I customized a screen with the days topic, and my son was so proud to really participate ... And the other kids were in awe! I'd give 10 stars if I could. Wish the printables were still available!

I bought this to introduce my non-verbal son to using the Ipad as an augmentative communication device. I like this app because of the very appealing interface, but I thought it would at least have the basics of allowing the user to build a string of icon/words that could be played back. Isn't that what AAC's do? WHY does this cost so much? I would love to get my money back.
