Before this app came along I think I had about 6 different apps to target confrontational naming for a variety of photos. This app has it all and it's my 'go-to' now. The photos are high quality and the app is easy to navigate. 5 stars!

This is by far one of my most used apps in my clinical practice as a SLP and one of my most recommended apps as well. I love not having to carry a huge deck of cards around the hospital, and the patients are thrilled to use an iPad. Even some of the doctors have requested we "show them the pictures." But the part I love the MOST is the way the app collects data for me. HUGE time saver!

Naming TherAppy is a fantastic app for for working with both children an adults who have trouble with expressive speech. With 4 different modes, name practice, name test, describe, and Flashcards, users get multiple chances to cement the information learned. The app is also very customizable!

I float around between multiple assisted living and skilled nursing buildings as well as home health with my iPad always in my bag. This is by far the app I use most for adults with aphasia as well as those in our dementia units to name functional objects, this app is second best to real objects! I also use it as a barrier task during dysarthria treatment where I have the patient describe as much about the photograph as I assess their intelligibility. The naming test is great as a mini-assessment you can record along with other assessments during progress notes for G-Codes.

My husband had a stroke earlier this year and I searched all over looking for apps that I could use on my iPad and found Therappy! We used this naming one on a daily basis and even recommended it to our speech therapist to use for her patients. Thank you for making such a wonderful app & series. As of today my husband's aphasia has improved dramatically and I credit part of it to these apps! Thank you!

I had put off purchasing this app for a while because I didn't want to spend the money. When I finally caved, I was SO glad I did! This app has been great for both my pediatric as well as geriatric clients. There are so many options and and ways to customize that you can really use it for just about anyone! With such emphasis on data and accountability, this app really goes the distance in therapy and is well worth the money!!

I originally bought this app to 1. get a better idea of how Tactus TherAppy apps performed, and 2. use it in presentations for speech-language pathology graduate students. I quickly realized how useful the app would be in my job as an itinerant speech-language therapist for preschoolers. I started by mostly using the "naming practice" portion. As I explored the app more, I realized how useful the "naming test" section was for objective data collection--I gave it to a couple children at the beginning of a quarter and then gave it again so I could easily get an objective measure of their progress. The "describe" section uses the concept of semantic feature analysis to strengthen semantic relationships. I haven't really used the "flashcards" section with my clients. Overall, I'm very pleased with the app. It is easy to navigate, incorporates evidence-based techniques, and gives me an easy, objective way to take data. Very few apps I've encountered are age-appropriate for both adults and preschoolers. I will be working in a medical setting later this year and cannot wait to try out the app with adults with aphasia!

I used this app in a SNF setting during my internship. I look forward to using it again during my CF. Its so nice to just have an app to carry around instead of worrying about papers! I love the percentage feature to find out and chart any improvement I may observe.
