  • Don't Upgrade!

After upgrading to numbers in Apr 2024, it crashes any time I try to create a new document or click on a document I have opened. Beware!
  • Missing many Excel functions

The only thing preventing me from moving to Numbers is circular definitions and defining your own functions.

  • Still Needs Some Serious Function Upgrades

I know that fluff is good but the program needs some serious upgrades to the usable functions. Functions Needed: Unique, Workday.INTL, Networkdays.INTL, Aggregate, for a start. Also needs Pivot Tables improvements, Slicers, individual Cell Lock. I used to be an Excel user but I find that for a lot of the things I do now Numbers is easier to use and does most things better. I just wish they'd dsyop adding fluff and give us some real Function inprovements.

some nice features that just fall short of being really useful. Gets updates litrerlaly two to three times a year and "update" is a loose term. Hard to collaborate with anyone who doenst have a mac. the little they seem to care about making this suite really great is fusrtrating. Categoreies and how it can use sperate tabels and export them as tehri onw csv files ( no not just one you selct but still ) are nice fetures to improve how a spreadsheet can work but they stop there. It's way behind excel and google an d for some reason has no real intergration into teh apple co system either.

  • apple class action lawsuit

Apple faces a proposed class action lawsuit that claims the tech giant “shortchanges” iCloud subscribers by providing five gigabytes (GB) less than the promised cloud storage capacity. Apple faces a proposed class action lawsuit that alleges the tech giant misleads consumers into believing that their personal data is not being tracked. The proposed class action detailed on this page was dismissed with prejudice on August 29, 2023 by U.S. Judge Jed S. Rakoff, who found that the plaintiff’s claims were, on the whole, too vague to survive. Apple has been hit with a proposed class action lawsuit that alleges the company has failed to adequately inform consumers that the new 12- through 14-series iPhones do not come with chargers. Apple faces a proposed class action that alleges the company’s AirTags have “revolutionized the scope, breadth, and ease of location-based stalking.” Apple is currently facing a court lawsuit for its alleged monopoly practices. The company's control over developers and infringement on consumer rights has raised concerns. Moreover, Apple's collection and storage of personal information under the guise of security, while assuring consumers it would remain on their devices, has been called into question. Additionally, Apple's interference with former employees' future endeavors has come to an end. It is crucial to ensure that Apple is not subjected to further attacks. Apple recently experienced a security breach resulting in the compromise of billions of user accounts and passwords. I received a notification indicating an attempted login to my account from a different location. Despite not making any purchases involving Apple products or services in the past six years, my personal information was still at risk. Consequently, Apple is facing a lawsuit for allegedly selling customer data to third parties.
  • Pretty bad

Things look pretty but this is a very confusing piece of software. It's really not intuitive at all and the charts are just bad! I really wanted to use this software, so much. It's just pretty when you see it in the templates. But you try editing those templates or making something yourself and it's so frustrating. Come on Apple, spend a bit of time on this software
  • Most frustrating interface

The UI is so scattered without a good reason - can't find a tool without jumping between 5 tabs. From a company who takes pride in its interfaces, this is frustrating.
