Silver and Gold upgrade prices are listed in the app as they vary depending on your country and currency. HOW IT WORKS Most aircraft today are equipped with ADS-B transponders that transmit positional data. Flightradar24 has a rapidly growing network of 35,000 ground stations to receive this data that then shows up as aircraft moving on a map in the app. In an expanding number of regions, with the help of multilateration (MLAT), we’re able to calculate the positions of aircraft that don’t have ADS-B transponders. Coverage is subject to change at any time. CONNECT WITH FLIGHTRADAR24 We love getting feedback on FR24. Can see EVERY airplane on the app that I do in real life! My family can track my plane when flying and I can look at it afterwards to see my patterns and maneuvers! One bad thing, WAY TO MANY ADDS!!!

I sent a message in to flight radar 24 customer support a few months ago and they said that they would not add McGuire AFB after I requested it. but now I look on the app and the base now has details for users to look at. The app it self is incredible and I use it on a daily basis. The one thing I do have to say is flights at Tel Aviv often appear to be stacked on top of each other going 2 knots at around 30,000 feet. Besides that, Flight radar 24 is ,in my opinion, the best app for AV geeks out there.
  • Lots of bugs lately

It takes some time for the earlier screen to clear once I open the app before updated current radar loads. Flight information is blank and shows N/A to N/A for clicked commercial aircraft and stays that way for sometime. Also, altitude used to climb smoothly and now climbs in fits and spurts by 250 or 300 foot increments. I’ve recently started to rely more and more on Flightaware and ADS-B which both seem to be more reliable for me. But the in app ads come right up!
  • Exceptional application

Very informative. Would like more on how this information is retrieved. How does it compare to what is seen in the cockpit. Also, ATC communications would be an added feature.
