What have you done? All I want to do is read the E edition of the IndyStar. I want it to be like the real newspaper that you hold in your hands and read how do I do that on this new app that you put on? Also, how do you make the image of the paper bigger…it is so small it is hard to even the headlines! Is it possible to get the “print edition” like the old app?

  • Horrible app. I subscribe and it spools and never opens

I finally went back to being an Indy Star subscriber after canceling my paper subscription years ago. This app is a rip off. Every time I click on a story, it makes me log in— through Facebook only— which means I have to find my FB password, then get on FB on another device and get a code generator. Then I put in that number and I either get an error message from Indy Star or it just spools for eternity. So I’m paying for online access and getting no online access.
  • Great, with a big flaw, and a little one.

Great app, seems to work fine. I love the dark mode and iOS integration. But it won’t accept my Apple Pay, and bigger than that; often the first paragraph is half off-screen to the right and the ad is half off to the left. Fix this one thing and you’ll be a five star to me! Love the IndyStar. Work at a library and direct people to its articles constantly.
  • Miserable excuse for app

This app is easily the worst I have. Slow to load (if it loads), fails to display pages most days, the first page of comics is always blurred. User hint: tap first page of comics, tap the plus sign in upper right, tap the minus sign three times, re- center image of page. The page is now readable.

I have been enjoying keeping up with the Indy Star. I get the latest headlines and important community information.
  • Redundant content

Local news is important. 90% of your articles focus on sports is not journalism. Less sports reporting and more diverse local news would be an improvement
  • Dark blue type on a black background -,who does that?

An awkward app that is not only technically weak but compounds the irritation by placing critical text in dark blue on a black background. Forces you to unnecessarily enlarge text size in order to read articles.
