I love the app when it works right. It freezes up at least once a week, I have to delete app and go to App Store and reinstall. You must have fixed app, doesn’t freeze up anymore.

First, let me say WW works. It’s a healthy approach to weight loss that is effect and sane. Don’t let the following review of their terrible app detour you. The diet works. The website is easy to navigate and contains features that help make tracking simple. Unfortunately the bean counters are no longer supporting the robust, user-friendly website. On April 30 we loose the website, in favor of the app. There are features missing from the app that you have on the website such as the ability to save meals, saving“favorites”, and searches that produce truly satisfying results. When I search for things in the app, I get a completely different list of things that I search for on the website. And the website usually gets me right to where I want to go with my search. The app? The app sometimes gets me where I want to go with a search. More often I have no idea how it comes up with its answers. You need support teams maintaining each platform- one team for the apps and another for the web, so rather than supporting their members with both options, the leadership of WW has chosen to save money and only have one team, the team on the app. It’s awkward, not nearly as robust, and as I point out above, it’s missing core features that make tracking really simple. But we’re going to lose it so that somebody can make higher profits. This is being referred to as the “rot economy” in technology. Everything is getting worse, not better. So the app needs a ton of work. Unfortunately, we’re probably not gonna get it. The diet itself, though is worth it. It does work. That’s why I gave the app two stars instead of one. The app itself gets one star. The diet actually brings up the score because the organization at one point had it all together and created the points system. I have no idea what’s happening to it now. They’re taking away a really useful website. Which in my book is a big mistake. yet another bad decision coming from the people who are running our technology. It’s all very sad.

The app is very easy to use even when I’m not that tech savvy but love it 😊
