Indeed is the only site I’ve found online that is a free service, that actually seems to take great pride in what they published. I’ve unsubscribed to everything except Indeed. I have a prospective employer reviewing my app now!!

Over the years I have used Indeed and recommended it above all other search engines for work. However in the last several year I have seen things such as allowing listings for locations that are not hiring. Corporate offices advertising jobs in areas they don’t have openings. It was after speaking to multiple business and showing them these adds I was told corporate offices had listed opening to stock pile applications for “when” an opening was made. I now look up companies on Google to be sure they are even real. I struggle to find listings that fit my intended search, now the most recent as I look at filling an application I am told this company will use AI to scan and score my resume. It’s visible to the hiring party. But I’m assuming only if requested. The lack of human interaction in the hiring process is becoming a disease. This is not something I recommend to anyone who wants a good worker. I’d like a means to opt out of all jobs using these AI systems. I’d like to find jobs that are looking to hire, train and promote, I’d like to remove companies with high turnover rates. I’d like to have all those skill tests I’ve done actually count for something and have employers see my account as well.

Counterintuitive. Makes it feel like it's enough from the 1990s or early 2000s.

Almost all my searches have nothing to do with what I’m looking for, I’m 17 and I need a car and this app has done absolutely nothing to help with that. I got a job, a bad one but I do have one, I get maybe 2 hours worth a work a week so I guess I did get me a job at least.
