    Done using Grubhub, everytime I have used it, it has been late by at least 40 minutes. They refuse to cancel the order or refund it when it’s already passed the original delivery ETA. Will be doing a chargeback through my bank to get my money bank from this scam of an app. Either pick up the food yourself or go to another service because this is by far the worst service you can choose.

    I have ordered Grubhub every single week for 6 years. 50% of the time my food takes an hour and food is cold or missing items or not delivered at all and the food gets stolen. They have caused me so much grief when all I want is hot food delivered correctly and on time. I’m a first responder and sometimes I can’t leave a post for up to 18 hours and need to eat. I wish I could give them 0 stars.

    In the times I have ordered from this app there is only a 50 percent the food actually arrives. The other times, I see the driver Tokyo drifting their way opposite my location to enjoy my dinner at their own place. The fees themselves easily double what I pay for my food, and the sheer amount of time spent ordering is awful. Plus, they have the audacity to add hidden fees not only to the food, but after you reach the checkout screen. The creator of this company should apologize for this monstrosity, recycle the entire industry and start from scratch because this is not it.

    I added an item to my shopping list and it made a duplicate order and charged me again. I definitely did not need or want two of every item. They did not care or wish to make the issues right. You would think there would be system checks in place to catch duplicate orders. Or at the very least they would care a little bit to try to make things right. Both drivers were great 10/10 for them.

    I understand people work for a living but so do I and between the bill, delivery and service charge it taps me out to give a good tip. You know this. How about working the tips into the total price. Don’t tell us and we can order with a clean conscience. I don’t wanna feel bad about my decisions. Maybe I just won’t order from this app; walk to pick it up for less myself.

    Sent proof on my house in a picture, to show it was a different house than the submitted picture. And still denied a refund, credit, or even having the food sent back to me again. This company is here to steal you money. Do not use them. RUN FROM THEM.

  • Grotesque overcharges across the menu

    I found 4 of my 7 items were priced above both the restaurant’s website and DoorDash. Completely untrustworthy and it’s a scam to “have a guarantee” where I have to police their behavior by looking at other services that are not ripping us off. I’m already getting charged $8 for a delivery fee, this skimming is gross - I only tried them because of the Amex Gold offer, won’t use them again.

    Zero accountability on the part of the business. Food is consistently delivered late and cold. I’ve stopped tipping until food is actually delivered to me. Drivers are lazy and don’t follow clear directions for delivery.

  • Great app, lousy drivers

    So the app itself is pretty great. The issue I have is with the quality of drivers. There's a reason why I leave special instructions especially when it comes to drivers and the call box. I stopped paying for a Grubhub membership because I got sick and tired of leaving instructions specific instructions especially with regard to drivers and how they use the call box. The problem is is that they don't use the call box and they just drop my food wherever they feel like dropping it and there's no way to get a hold of the drivers. The drivers are lousy and careless and reckless in my area. It's a real shame because GrubHub is the cheapest of all of the food delivery apps and gives you the most perks for your membership. Until GrubHub goes back to the way things used to be where drivers actually listen to and read and follow instructions I will not justify paying for a membership. I put special instructions in the delivery notes for a reason. I don't write stuff down for my health, I make it easy as much as possible for drivers to find my location especially given the fact that I'm blind and I don't want anyone stealing my food. Overall the app is great but GrubHub needs to do some serious quality control.
