The reviews are obviously fake. The app is unusable. Completely random, and not random in the sense of “oh I don’t like that furniture choice ” random like “I wanted an empty room to be staged with a couch and rug but it generated a Picasso painting loosely resembling the structure of my walls” Tried the exterior mode just to see and it’s equally bad. Unless you want to see what your house looks like without a roof and 3 driveways to nowhere. Waste of time and money. Don’t be fooled by the fake reviews and don’t think it has 10% of the features they’re selling. It’s actually a joke how hyperbolic the reviews are

I thought I would give this app a shot for visual staging of a simple small home. I have spent hours trying to generate a dining room. Literally I have created hundreds of rooms all of which were supposed to be dining rooms but every time they came out as living rooms. I changed my descriptions from vague to specific and used photos of dining rooms as my aspiration. Then I used a photo of an unattractive plain room with plain dining table. I selected enhance just to try and improve the furniture - it opened walls closed walls added a kitchen and left the dining table the same. I tried tweak instead and it took out sliding glass doors changed the flooring and added a kitchen and again the dining table looked the same. I did create a decent living room. The bedroom was better than the dining room but not nearly as good as the living room. I recommend this app for creating very simple living rooms and really that’s all.

Renovate AI has changed how I think about home design. From paint colors to exterior changes, everything is at your fingertips. The 'Renovate' mode is phenomenal, allowing for real-time visualizations that are incredibly accurate. Also, the fact that I can start a project on my mobile and finish it on my desktop is a major plus!

I've always been intimidated by interior design, but Renovate AI made it a breeze. The free app let me redesign my bathroom by simply copying the style from a reference image. The intuitive UX makes navigating through different tools so easy. Plus, switching between my laptop and phone is seamless. Highly recọmmend for any room in your house!

App is a scan. You can pay $10 to use it for a week or $40 for the year. You can’t do anything on the app until your purchase one of the plans. Was so excited to use the eraser to see space empty. It does not remove items like it advertises on the app. It is blurry and unusable. Purchase one of the plans currently trying to get a fund because it is a scam.

Absolutely love Renovate AI! I started with a kitchen remodel, and the 'Style Transfer' feature blew me away. Just uploaded a photo from a magazine, and bam! My room transformed on the screen. The tools are super user-friendly, and I love how my projects sync between the desktop app and my phone. Best design tool for any home project, hands down!

Without a subscription, this app gives you no facility to delete your uploaded photos. You have to contact customer support and ask them to do it for you. Fortunately, their customer support is excellent and they deleted my photos immediately upon request. Furthermore, location info is sent along with photos by default. You have to go to the settings and explicitly turn this off. These are real privacy concerns that make me reluctant to continue exploring this app, so I can’t speak to the usefulness of its features. I did try the auto remodel feature and that looked like fun. If they correct these issues, I’d try the app again.

“Underwhelming App Experience: I decided to give this app a try with high hopes of renovating and decorating my house. However, upon using it, I found the functionality to be extremely limited. Despite promises of being able to renovate and decorate, all I could do was view my house in different styles with various landscaping options. There was no actual ability to customize or interact with the designs as advertised. Disappointed by the lack of features, I decided to cancel my subscription on the last day of the trial. The real frustration set in when I tried to get my $152.37 refund the next day, only to be met with a refusal from customer support. Even after exploring the app thoroughly, it seemed to offer nothing beyond showing my house in different styles, with no practical utility for actual renovation or decoration. My experience with this app was far from satisfactory, and I’ve since reached out to Apple for further assistance.”

Lots of categories that will trick you into thinking the app can be helpful, but you’ll find many features are worthless (floor switch is like 10 options many of which are cartoon-esc) or don’t work at all.
