  • High school drama

It’s fun to play but the storyline reminds me of high school. Unrequited love, clueless chick, jealousy, yada yada yada. If it were just a straight mystery without the (in my opinion) cheesy love stories, it would probably be a 5/5.

I downloaded this game because I saw an add that was like “do you hate seeing adds for a game and the game is nothing like the adds? Well this is not one of those” and showed the mom and the daughter freezing and where you can fix areas of the house. So I downloaded the game because I wanted to see if it was true. And it wasn’t. This game is NOTHING like the adds. However… I still enjoy this game. It’s fun and simple and a good way to pass the time. So, don’t download this expecting what the ads show, because it’s not like that. But it is a good game.

I made a in app purchase that clearly stated $3.99 and paid with my Apple Pay. Some how as soon as I pressed purchased it also charged me and extra $22.98 on top of the $3.99!!! I want my money back because there is nothing wrong to show for $22.98. Please refund!!! It’s been happening a lot lately whenever I make a small purchase a bigger amount comes behind it but luckily I have my cards locked most of the time.
  • Honest review (parents read)

First off let me get the parents note out of the way right off the bat. This game has story lines and there is a lot of lgbtq characters and relationships, so if you don’t want your kids exposed to that then don’t let them play this game. As for the game itself, I’ve been playing this game for at least two months and besides the storyline it’s pretty good. No ads and no WiFi needed. I like the way the game is made, how you can go back and forth between mini games and decorating and the matching stuff. I really appreciate that you can get items like diamonds and energy by doing other things and it isn’t impossible or super hard. I really like this game, I’m determined to get to the end and see what that looks like. I just felt the need to warn parents about the storyline because if you don’t get very far in the game you would not know.
  • You have to spend money to get anywhere

I didn’t realize that i’d bought so many of their packs. $5 for 100 energy and you burn through that energy in 20 seconds. It takes 2 minutes to get 1 energy, caps at 100 energy unless you buy energy. But it won’t keep generating if you’re over 100. So over 3 hours to get 100 energy, need 500 energy to make one item. Have 2-3 items per order. So you get on every 3 hours, use up energy in 2 minutes, wait 3 more hours to play for 2 minutes. They also give you bonuses if you use 600 energy in 30 minutes….. you can’t even gain that much energy in 18 hours. Designed to make you spend money. I was wanting a game i could play while in waiting room, but 30 seconds of play every 3 hours…. I didn’t realize how much money I was charged either. Almost $80!!! They didn’t take it out as I charged, no receipt when I made the purchase, charged all at once. Do not recommend.

Like a lot of the other reviews, you spend your energy quick and it takes a long time to get more. One character is referred to as “they” “them”, there is a lesbian couple and a gay couple. The tattoo on one of the characters changes arms when you go back to the kitchen. I’ve spent a lot of money this week trying to get ahead. I can’t even make one of the items spending 300 of the energy. Time to find a different game.
  • Could be great but not there yet

I enjoy the game. Hard to play long due to running out of energy so quickly and it takes a lot to build up to some of the orders. Also, it’s like you’re penalized for wanting to get more energy if you get 100 more it will be 10 diamonds but then if you want 100 more again, now it’s 20 diamonds. Same exact amount of energy but double the “cost”.
  • Money grabbing game

Although it’s a fun game to play, advancement is only successful on how much you spend. You have to build on items to fulfill customer orders. They arrange it so that you have to keep starting from the 1st item out of the food/object groups in order to build up to the item(s) of the orders. Because of this, you end up exhausting the complimentary energies you accumulate during the exhausted time- they won’t let you accumulate more than 100 energies and you have to make the choice to buy more energies. They should revamp this game and revise some of the conditions to help the customer get ahead without the customer fronting the cost. Not a generous game at all, very greedy on their end.
