Description

Metal Detector enables you to detect metal objects with your iOS Devices. You are able to preview the magnetic field level in graph and 3D directional. Metal Detector measures magnetic field with embedded magnetic sensor. The magnetic field level (EMF) in nature ranges from 25 to 65 µT (micro tesla) or 250mG (Milli Gauss) 1μT = 10mG. Any higher measurement is an indication of metal or electromagnetic waves change in the area. The magnetic field level will increase when any metal (steel, iron) is near the phone. The magnetic field level will constantly fluctuate while moving around. You can find any metal object such as electrical wires in the walls or iron pipes in the ground. Metal Detector works best detecting ferromagnetic materials, such as iron and can’t detect non-ferromagnetic materials such as wood, glass, plastic, paper, copper, and aluminum. Features: • Show device orientation in 3D space with compass. • The 3D magnet gets bigger if the magnetic field level is greater. • Show maximum magnetic field level. • Show magnetic field level vs. time in graph. • Able to Screenshot and save to the camera roll. • By default the 3D magnet direction is from the north just like regular compass. • Able to reset maximum magnetic field value. • Sound notification if reach maximum magnetic field level. • Able to Enable/Disable Sound notification. Usage: • Detect metal object such as electrical wires in the walls or iron pipes. • Detect object that might be metal or not. • Detect the Magnetic field level change in certain areas. E.g. bypass the giant metal gate. • Some say it can be used for ghost detection [I am not sure about that ;)] • And many more depend on your imagination. You can also record the screen for reference • Go to Settings > Control Center > Customize Controls, then tap next to Screen Recording. • Go to Control Centre. • Tap the Screen Recording icon [circle with a dot inside it] to start recording. • The screen will be recorded after three-second countdown. • When finished, tap on the red bar or blob to stop recording. • Screen recording video will be saved in Photos where you can access and view. Note: the magnetic field level might affected by electronic equipment (TV, PC, Microwave) due to electromagnetic waves.
