Has everything necessary, but could have a wider range of sounds to choose from. (e.x. more drum kits and sound effects)

  • I’m dropping my rating!

I’m dropping my rating to a 2 star because the app is simply too buggy for reliable production. It’s either iPad OS or the app itself that is simply too unstable. Any changes to the audio input/device can disable plugins at random. There’s no AUV3 rescanning tool. It may refuse to recognize plugins altogether even after a close and relaunch of the app. Other DAWS on this platform do not do this. Even loading the producer packs can disable the third party AUV3s already on my iPad. Missing features I can forgive because this app is in early development, but not addressing all of these bugs is not accessible. Not when you have my subscription! And then getting awards for this app and not doing updates is wild! Come on Apple!
  • Please STOP the yelping and re:-consider the 1 stars

Ok starving artists, sure, its dropping a $50 for ONE YEAR. That’s one cheesie wedding singer song, one diplogänger-banger one j,k,c-pop beat to make bit.koin bank. Then, THEN THEEENNN add in all the music producer instrument packs! All running on iPad Pros instead of a Speaker stack the size of Vesuvius and twelve Mack trucks. Skrillixing around in Logic Pro COULD yield a Bieber-burber dolphin whistle or frenchie tickle beat that leads to greener pastures. Sure Sure tea and crumpets might let team Logic consider a lifetime price, though Software as a Service (SaaS) reflects the modern coding environments to produce world-class kode. Yes YEss who isn’t a freegan; they give you a trial (managed in the Gears/Settings in iCloud subscriptions. Koders need to eat too people; you drop $50 they get burritos for lunch and more feature request fills. You can Bank in a Month doing a music session; All you Berklee gals and guys out there shout it out to the Pops, it’s easy peasy lemon squeeze. One Tip: in the manage module thingie there is a button to blast down all modules; 5G or nice WiFi pipe recommended. F00Bie NeXTHead

Thanks Apple for making This App! I have been using it to make an album, and this app is so good! It runs so smooth on My M2 iPad Pro 11 inch, 8GB Ram, and the patches are also so good! What an awesome app! Thank you Apple!
  • I was excited until I realized it was a subscription.

I would happily pay a one-time price for it. But subscription pricing? Boooo! Hissss!
  • Subscription?

Subscription to an app I already paid for, for the luxury of using it on an interface with less features? No thanks.
  • Good stuff- could still be better

I have created lots of excellent recordings with Logic Pro and the results are excellent. The learning curve is steep for someone not experienced with the symbols and jargon. The tutorials and help feature make too many assumptions about the computer skills and knowledge of jargon to be very helpful. At best they are challenging to use. How about a manual for dummies with a full and understandable graphic layout of all of the buttons, features, and functions? Somewhat slower paced tutorials?
  • Not fully there yet.

Third party VSTs should be accessible by now with the M1 chip. Lack of updates. Very Powerful DAW and it’s the future. But just not there yet just the little tedious things make it frustrating but once a few more adjustments are in it’s OVER!
  • Lose the subscription model

I refuse to submit to the subscription model. I would gladly pay a fair one-time fee. If logic for Mac switches to this greedy pay model, I will stop using that too.
