The game is okay, I like the story and the graphics. Puzzles aren’t too tough, so it’s a good relaxing game before bed. BUT I hate that to play the bonus game you have to buy gems or buy the bonus game. I’ve played hundreds of this type of app over the years and never ever have I seen a game where you have to buy the bonus chapter. Just make it part of the initial price. Bummer that I did the whole main game but don’t get to do any of the bonus extras I love because I’m not going to pay $1.99 just for the bonus chapter. Edit after developer response: I want to make sure you know I totally think the game is worth the money! It was just disappointing to finish the main game just to find out the bonus game is a charge. I guess it technically makes sense to pay for bonus features, but it’s not the norm so was an unwelcome surprise. Not a fan of paying for hints either. I never used them, but the amount of gems you have by the end of the game aren’t enough to buy the bonus. I like the game, love the graphics and story, I think they’re better than the other big “hidden object” type developers. Only thing I think could use some adjusting is the gem system. It’s my only turn off to the games. But I’ll keep playing them!!

This is my second Dark City game and fourth F.F.S. game I’ve played. Just wanted to say I’ve played a lot of HOA’s (a lot. Like, a sad amount lol), and haven’t seen such consistent and incredible storylines, art style, and sound as this dev provides. I love these so much! And I so greatly appreciate the f2p option for some of the games, I was worried I would be spammed with a thousand ads, but it doesn’t have any, just need to pay for hints :). These games are definitely worth the $ if you have it. Thank you!!!

I see some of the reviews have complaints about the puzzle in the doctor’s office. Is it difficult? Yes. Is it fair? Also yes. You know what you are supposed to do. Some of us like a challenge, and I’m glad they threw a few harder things in.

I was loving this game until the picture puzzle in the doctors office. Way too difficult and I’m not paying to buy 50 rubies so that I can skip the puzzle. Also, there is no reset on the puzzle. Probably just going to delete without getting to finish.

This was a very enjoyable and fairly easy going game. Until you have to solve the Neanderthal picture puzzle in the Dr. Room. First, they should have shown you what the picture should look like. Second, to me, even though I went online to get the picture, moving the tiles to achieve the end was impossible. When you get a correct tile in place, it lights up to verify it is in the correct spot. But to get other tiles, you have to move the completed tiles and now THEY are out of place. Stupid. AND they want FIFTY RUBIES to skip it. This forces you to purchase (not me) more rubies. This ruined the game.

I’ve played all of your other Dark City games and have completed them without too much trouble. But this one … I got to the evolution puzzle near the end and am stuck with just 2 pieces out of place. Yes, I know I could buy "50 rubies," or I could buy the game and start over, but with inflation hitting us so hard, I can’t justify spending $ on a game. I really like your games, and the choice at the end of them to decide the fate of the perpetrator. This puzzle us just too hard, as others have told you as well. Not finishing it. ☹️

Love all the dark city games and how long they are!! Amazing!

I actually like this game, lots to do, lots of fun, but then you get to a mini-game, the puzzle of the evolution into the werewolf where you slide the columns and rows. First of all, there is no reset button to start over. It was 45 gems to skip. I went out of the game and when i went back to that mini game it was 50 gems to skip. 50!!!!! My GOD talk about greed!! Take the fun out of the game by making it "free to play" only by no means is it free! The developer doesnt want you to have fun with it. They want every penny out of you they can get to buy gems, instead of what they used to do, offer for you to buy the game and have fun with it. They took away the fun part and made it more expensive for you. This is whats wrong with the whole world!! Money money money!!! It's a shame, that greed is tearing everything apart! Making everybody angry and fighting. I can't get past this mini game and no way I'm wasting my hard earned money on gems just to feed greed. Uninstalling!

Great story line!

This game is great, however, there is one thing I have a major problem with. You know that puzzle in the doctor’s office where you have to slide the rows and columns around to recreate the picture? Well, it’s nearly impossible to solve!! I’ve been trying to solve it for several months now and I just can’t do it! Why couldn’t it have been a click-and-swap puzzle? Honestly! You game developers purposely design your games that way to force players to buy the necessary items to skip the puzzles and some people just don’t have that kind of money! Until this puzzle is either redone or eliminated entirely, I will never play your games again!!
