I love these widgets, i have the premium version but it NEVER plays on its own. I play Spotify daily for hours and the widget is always stuck, i have to click on it multiple times to get it to open, and then to get it to sync. I have 3 md vinyl widgets on my phone and sometimes I’ll click on one of them and the app doesn’t open nor does the player start playing.. i have to click all of them at one point to get it to work. It defeats the purpose of having it if i have to manually activate it every time 🥲🫠

Only downloaded the app to test it and I also wanted cute widgets on my phone. but when I actually download the app, to put a widget, turns out you have to pay for the premium version of the app in order to have them, Plus, there is a limited song playing. so this is a useless app in my opinion, because you kinda already have a music player app and you must have one if you want to use this app

Thought id try this out... started it and it said "watch ad for 10 free songs" watched the ad and got 2 songs and an ad... another 2 songs and ad... otherwise.. cute idea.

Adds some much needed animation, color and design to the desktop of the iPad as she’ll as the iPhone. One of the latest updates removed the wigget from the iPhone. I would like to see that back. The full screen view is nice, but like to have the option.

It’s cool but I opened it to play a song then after it would not go to the next song it would keep saying the first song was playing and wasn’t working and I had to connect Spotify to it which made it confusing for it to work

I was looking forward to having the widgets, and seeing the digital vinyl players, but most features are locked behind MD Pro. It essentially plays the music and has the album art + the vinyl which is pretty nice. However, without paying, have a limited number of songs until it forces you either pay up or watch an ad. For the widgets, when you place them it just says “Get MD Pro to use widgets!” And blocks the widget. Also, it could’ve been nice to have colorful vinyls like maybe change from black to blue on albums like SOS. Overall, I give the app 3/5.

I’m very pleasantly surprised for the devs and support for this app. I left a 3 star review saying the widget wouldn’t change. They gave a valid reason and it has been fixed quickly since then. It’s a cute widget and makes listening to music fun. The only reason it’s 4 stars and not 5 is because I think four dollars a bit overpriced for some widgets, but I understand that the devs have to make money.

The cutest and most aesthetic music player app

Everything works well. It’s like a real vinyl player on the iPad. And it’s also cool on iPhone. Really looking forward to seeing it on Mac.
