It’s gotten even better which is rare for an app these days. Started with the free version and when they introduced the paid version it had improved so much it was worth the purchase. I use it when I have down time to keep me busy with studying.

App is decent but I don’t care for passive aggressive app notifications. “you’re ignoring us. We’ll stop these reminders. Pass your exam or not? We don’t care”. Grow up and stop trying to be /edgy/ and /cool/.
  • Great app, add more.

So far the app has been great. I think maybe adding where in the books you can read about the information provided would be helpful for the user to understand and learn more. Also, adding some video content to to get a visual idea of the answer. But still a 5 star app!

I love the fact that each objective of the CCNA exam are laid out, with each one explored in full detail through the different paths. It may be a bunch of multiple choice quizzes, but each one has a deep breakdown of why the answer is right or wrong. My issue is not with the content, but more of a bug I ran into with the practice exams (it may affect the other exam types I’m not 100% sure yet). When you finish the exam, it breaks down the number of questions that came from each of the six domains. It gives a percentage of how many of those questions you get right as well as an “improve” button that shows you which point in that domain path you can go back to for reviewing, which is excellent information. The issue is that once you hit that button, going back takes you all the way to the list of practice exams and not to the exam score page you were just on a moment ago. Going back to that exam score page gives you your overall grade again, but the specific domains are now all showing “0%”. Unless you wrote down the grade you got in each domain beforehand, you won’t know which domain to go back to for a refresher. It still will highlight the point in each path by hitting the “improve” button again, so that much is tracked successfully, you just lose the grade. This may be an encouragement to just simply review all the domains again, but it did tell you moments ago how you performed in that domain so it was important enough to tell the user once, which makes me think it’s a bug. Otherwise, it’s a perfect aide for studying for the exam. After sitting through dozens of videos and spending late nights reading the boring official guides, this app gives you enough information to teach the general concept but not too much that it’s information overload. I can zip through a quiz or two, jot down what questions I’ve missed and the general concepts they were about, and research those in more detail later. It’s a great guide to show me what I’m weak in and reinforces the knowledge through repetition.

This app has it all: spaced repetition, large quantity of questions and activa recall.
