  • App need to add Comcast Xfinity as a tv provider sign-in

    I have the AMC+ app as an added app through Comcast Xfinity. The phone app doesn’t allow you to sign into the app without creating another paid membership. I’m not paying for this app twice. They only allow tv providers Spectrum and Dish for logging in. This is a big inconvenience and doesn’t make sense especially when you have under the help section the list of all the tv providers you’re partnered with and their contact numbers.

    The shows are alright. Below are the issues with the app: 1. There is often a lag between video and audio that happens after resetting the app. 2. When you’ve been watching something, it will not update your new place on a different device. 3. If you have been watching something for a while it does not give you the option to see season details to pick an episode. This is an issue because it does not always update your spot and you end up having to fast forward through multiple episodes. 4. It will randomly reset you to an old episode and then you will have to fast forage through multiple episodes. 5. Sometimes when you farted all the way though an episode it will not give you the option to play the next episode, it just gives you options for different shows. There’s a lot more. I’ve never left an app review in my life. It’s bad.

    Honestly, the selection is only ok and the extra fluff at the beginning and end of each video is really annoying, especially when compared to their competitors. I would be giving 3 stars, maybe 4, but they make you cancel outside of the App. Any company that makes it difficult is not to be trusted, in my opinion. They tell you to go to the App Store to cancel and guess what? It’s not even listed as an app under my subscriptions so what am I supposed to do? Truly obnoxious and exploitive. Make your service easy and transparent for consumers, or don’t make a service at all.

    You can’t make profiles and they don’t even have full seasons. It’s not expensive at all so I guess you get what you pay for

    This is the worst streaming app that has ever existed! I specifically joined to it to watch The Walking Dead and despite it being on this channel, guess what you can’t watch? That’s right! The Walking Dead !!!! You can watch every single version of the show except the original version. Garbage app

    More ads than a free phone game. Won’t save your place in the show half the time, so you have to watch three ads to find where you left off. Ads play at double volume. Finally bought premium so I could finish the show I was watching, and guess what there’s still ads. The website is just as bad.

    This is the worst app I’ve ever used in my life. What’s even the point when half the content isn’t even available unless you have AMC as an add on to another app? Then, we finally find something to try to watch and get an error message. What a joke.
