As a single parent, you’ve tried other dating apps, but at the first mention of your kids, you’re no longer interesting. Sound familiar? That’s why we created Stir, a dating app with a focus on single parents. It’s where you don’t have to apologize for having a crazy schedule. It’s where having kids isn't a deal-breaker. It’s where solo parents can meet, chat, and rediscover the fun in dating. You’ll get to know potential matches through our questions on personality and values. As we learn what you like and don’t like, our algorithm will present new matches we think you’ll love. • Like the rest

Don’t get the sense that it’s legit. Not able to do much, limited to preset options I could go on but I wasted to much time already.
  • Complete waste of money

So before I paid for the app I’d get likes all the time the day I started paying for it all activity stopped. I wish I could get a refund
  • Needs work

Paywalled like most of them. They require a review of all profile changes and will reject the slightest mention of being 420 friendly even if you live in a state where it’s legal. That’s a huge roadblock for some people so it’s pretty insane you can’t even mention it. Good concept, but I don’t need my dating life micromanaged
  • Worst app ever.

This app is a complete joke. Even if you set your distance preference, it still shows profiles way out of your setting. 90% of the profiles are the creepiest people I’ve ever seen. Don’t waste your money on this joke.
  • Cool so far I guess

    By Not Your Average Joe
I think the app is cool so far the only thing I don’t like about it is that I have to pay to respond back to a message. I feel like subscriptions can be used for other perks of the app like boosting views etc but to force me to pay 20 dollars a month to message someone is bull. This should be revised.

Where are the quality single moms? This is a sad situation.
  • Lower your expectations

It’s a nice distraction app but doesn’t allow you to put in enough information to make anything but a superficial match. I suppose it could be a single parent hookup app but I haven’t felt comfortable enough to meet anyone in person. It definitely doesn’t ask for enough relevant information for me to feel comfortable introducing any of my matches to my kids…also the premium prices are ridiculous. Most single parents don’t have $20 a week to spend on a dating app and I don’t think it’s worth a 6 month investment. They should offer a one month free premium trial.
  • Good app and good idea but glitchy with Match app

    By Sixflagsfan
If you’re a subscriber to Match and Stir at the same time you can’t be logged into both because Match will glitch out with an error message “Mismatch of User Id between session and Auth”. Very annoying.
  • Pay for even reading a message??

Money must be of higher importance to this company than providing a means for single parents to find a partner. Money hungry? I heard of this app from a person in a group for single parents. So I decided to give it a go. It’s pretty easy to use/user friendly HOWEVER you’re not allowed to see likes, messages, nothing unless you pay a minimum of $19.99 A WEEK! That’s absolutely absurd. Reading a message from someone is not a premium feature yet it’s treated as so. I bet the person who will respond to this will simply say, “reading a message before you match is premium”. Honestly, no. Highly disagree. Either stop teasing people with notifications that say “you’ve got a message, find out what they said!” Every 5 minutes to pressure use to pay 19.99/ week (that price is ridiculous) or let it not be a premium feature. I also wanna say.. Profiting off of single parents — who have a single income — is shameful! How to expect single parents who need to support their family alone to pay such high prices? 19.99 a week, 1 month for 29.99, etc. shame on you guys.
  • Horrible app

    By bhenrn
This app is owned by the people. Saw that and knew it was gonna be bogus. They can’ verify a google voice number. Why would I want an information sharing app to have my real number. Then you have to pay to see scammers. Only 15k people use this app 1k might be real. No filters. Then have the audacity to pay someone to give these fake responses without making any improvements to the app. Stay off these bogus apps single parents focus on your kids do not take your kids money and give it to this scamming company. They need a negative stars option it’s -1000 stars because who thought of this mess. A fast thought less product to make money fast.
