I’m so confused I do have viruses on my phone and yet it told me to download this app to help and I really can’t find the app and I do not know what to do here anyone else have the same problem?

I was trying to watch a movie but it said I have viruses and needed this app but when I got it it said I have to pay. Why do I need to pay to keep my phone safe?? Stupid

Ok so I was trying to get a ringtone and this keeps popping up that there’s a virus and I’m like ok and clicked it and I’m like oh so it wants me to download a app ok so I did it and u have to pay ok u have to pay to get a “virus” gone what why and no I am not gonna pay for a stupid virus to disappear do we even know if it’s real no

It said i needed to instal this app to temove malware but i must buy a subscription to even remove the malware
