Impossible to use Google Chromecast to watch on your tv. It shuts off every commercial break. This has happened since the app launched 2 years ago. They either don’t care, or have no idea how to fix it. Worst sports app by a mile. Every other sports app works flawlessly with Google Chromecast.

May 10: STOP SIGNING ME OUT EVERY 2 WEEKS!!!! iPad app is pretty bad. A touch better than the MSG+ app which is by far the worst live streaming app I’ve used. Streaming games on the Yes App constantly freezes & picture resolution goes in & out. Maybe get rid of all the other nonsense like polls and live stats and concentrate on streaming glitch free. And no it’s not my internet connection or router. I only live stream, mlbtv, youtubetv, youtube, espn+, I have none of the same issues that Yes has.

They really need to get some IT developers of a higher quality. And the AppleTV app is a disaster - it doesn’t even have the game so I have to watch on my phone

Due to the “Play” tab being active while viewing, it constantly loads these unnecessary reaction emojis which constantly display while watching. I imagine due to this feature my phone is forced to use an excessive amount of battery and often find my phone heating up due to this while I find myself on less than 20% by the 7th inning. Incredibly draining and from what I’ve found no way to turn off. Wish I could turn off those silly pop up notifications permanently as well, as every time I open the app I have to select no. Why can’t it remember my preferences or turn these features off in the settings? Completely unnecessary, I just want to watch the game. Not react into the void with pointless emojis or bet fake money on stupid wagers.

Would be great if I go to watch a clip and it wouldn’t pause every two seconds, if it even plays at all.

Picture will become blurry or lag intermittently. This has been a problem for YES for some time. FYI I do not experience this issue with other apps on my WiFi. Not sure why Yankees can’t get this fixed. With more people moving away from cable you would think this would be a priority. Yankees are one of the top 5 most valuable franchises in the world. Can’t they make the investment to fix this for their fans and give them a quality product that they charge for?

Listening to the Amortec commercial over and over kills it for me.

A lot of stuttering

Often we can’t see the ball due to a severely blurry screen. It is absolutely the worst streaming service I have ever seen! Customer service says they are aware of the issues. Only a true Yankee fan with no other option would pay for this junk service. Ads are crystal clear!
