Every time when I try to make a video, there is these things about HQ+ and I can’t figure out to get rid of it!

I use this app daily for my brand - i was on iOS15 for 3 years .. finally upgraded to 17 and now this app is bugging .. flipping video and time stamp in wrong position .. Please assist! or update app // i did lots of research and this is by far the best VHS app!!

when i first got this app, i was like “OMG! THIS LOOKS SO REAL!” and obliviously i bought HQ+ for more features (and to support the developer), but then i ran into a few problems: 1. importing vids with timestamps makes the vid upside and reversed 2. making the cam 4:3 without the timestamps makes the vid reversed 3. camera is in different sides and makes it confusing i feel like fixing this will make my rating more higher. thx! (RECOMMENDING GETTING THIS APP)

Works great and it’s free, what else is there to say?

I’ve always used RarevisionVHS and I’ve tried a few others. RarevisionVHS has a lot going for it but it hasn’t been updated in 2yrs. E240 looks like a good runner up- all the basics are there, the video filters, tracking glitch at the bottom of the screen, time stamps- I like the app and it’s a great start!! I’d like to see more. For example, there is no landscape mode. And RarevisionVHS adds more noise to the video filter. Additionally, unlike RarevisionVHS, there’s no header labels for cassette type or tracking glitch controls. E240 has an on/off control for the glitch. The onscreen REC font is too modern and I’d like to see the triangle play icon in the final video file. It’s small bits but ithis app has a lot of potential! Keep up the great work and maintain the retro vhs/vcr aesthetics!!

I really love the look in the preview, but somehow, videos are not saved to the library. Is there something I missed or is this a big? Please fix this, thank you!! Paid $4.99 to support developer! ;)

This really is a great VHS app. I’ve made a few good videos with it, and I want to make more! The makers of this app really did a good job, unlike the numerous other apps that require recurring fees to use it. Eventually, I plan to upgrade with the ability to alter the timestamp & retouch existing videos. I retouched an existing picture from my phone, and the timestamp is, in fact, reversed. If that gets fixed, I will gladly upgrade & support these good developers. They deserve it.

So, as a quick and dirty way to shoot VHS looking video, it’s pretty good, and least with the limited amount of time I’ve had to play with it. There needs to be an option to shoot in 4:3 aspect ratio, ‘cause it ain’t VHS if it’s 16:9! This app NEEDS to work in landscape orientation. Vertical is fine for social media or if you’re using a gimbal, but it makes using it on a tripod or a rig difficult.

So, when I saw this app, when it said “no subscriptions” and “changing the date and time” I thought that it was free to do. It wasn’t until I downloaded it that I realized you have to pay like $4.99, It is ok if you don’t change it, but I would appreciate if you would make it free, because I wanted to make a little thing on iMovie. That’s all I have to say.

The app is great with HQ but, when I import videos to the the text I added and the date that is there and the video is just collapsed and reversed in view, Can you please fix this? Because I wasted 5 dollars on HQ and the only thing I need is a good import of my videos.
