Description

Keep control of your news reading with Reeder, RSS reader and read later client in one app, now with support for iCloud syncing. FEEDS Sync all your feeds and articles with iCloud. Reeder 5 comes with a built-in RSS/Feeds service which will keep everything in sync on all your devices. Of course, this is optional. You can still just use one of the many third-party services supported by Reeder or just RSS (without sync). READ LATER This is Reeder's built-in read later service which stores all your data securely in iCloud. A sharing extension allows you to add links from outside of Reeder. BIONIC READING A higher dimension of reading. With Bionic Reading you read texts with more focus, awareness, and sustainability. Read more about Bionic Reading at bionic-reading.com. WIDGETS View most recent articles, configurable to only show items from feeds, folders, searches (for services that support searches) or tags (for read later services). MARK AS READ ON SCROLL With version 5, Reeder finally supports marking items as read while scrolling. Off by default, this can be enabled on a per-account basis. READER VIEW Enter Reader View (for feed items and read later links that support this) for a clutter-free reading experience directly in Reeder's article viewer. You can enable "Automatic Reader View" on a per-feed basis to always load items of a feed with Reader View. SUPPORTED THIRD-PARTY SERVICES Feedbin, Feedly, Feed Wrangler, FeedHQ, NewsBlur, The Old Reader, Inoreader, BazQux Reader, FreshRSS, Instapaper and Pocket.

Years of use. Developer has ignored EVERY SINGLE MESSAGE I’VE EVER SENT. Tags need to be fixed. Can’t edit or delete them. 5.4.1 Crashes frequently
  • Syncing with iCloud is a game changer

I’ve been an avid user of RSS newsreaders for years, and this app is the best I’ve ever used. When the developer added iCloud syncing, I was able to unsubscribe from a subscription RSS aggregation service, which saved me a lot of money. Syncing via iCloud continues to work great. It is with some sadness that I see that the developer hasn’t released an update for this app in a long time. I would love to be able to use this app with my Apple Vision Pro, even if it is the iPad version.

Using this with a self-hosted FreshRSS instance and it’s fantastic

tried emailing a couple times about enabling Apple Vision Pro support and developer won’t respond. don’t appreciate that after purchasing Reeder on all the platforms it’s available on. app hasn’t seen any meaningful changes since i bought it years ago.
  • App needs some updates

The app is pretty looking. Nice animations but that’s it. It’s slow to load articles (with just 25 feeds only) post images many times don’t load when scrolling through the list. When trying to get full article text, is a hit or miss. The app definitely need some updates. However, it hasn’t been updated in a year. It could be an abandoned app now.
  • App seems to be abandoned

The app hasn’t been updated for a year and the Reddit integration is completely broken.
  • Enable Apple Vision Pro

There’s no reason why this iPad app couldn’t also run on the Vision Pro like so many other apps. Just enable it
  • Only crashes

I’ve used Reeder for years. I paid for the upgraded to version 5 and all it does is give the message “Reeder crashed the last time it was trying to open its database.” Resetting Reeder doesn’t fix the issue and this message is displayed again and again. I contacted support but there is no reply.
