Taio supports Universal Purchase, pay once to use on iPhone, iPad and Mac devices. ## Main Features ### Clipboard Taio takes clipboard data as one of the input sources, you can capture it quickly for *temporary* use. Saved records can be synchronized across your iOS devices using iCloud, we also provide beautiful home screen widgets for better experience. ### Editor Taio provides a full-fledged **Markdown** editor, it supports `CommonMark` and `GitHub Flavored` standards. Instead of telling you everything, we would like to highlight some great stuff here: - Full text search, in-document search - Built-in image uploading - Focus mode - Multi-Tab editing - Multiple color themes - Toolbar for beginners - Outline view - Math formulas and diagrams - Tags, wikilinks and backlinks - Export to multiple formats - Dynamic text in snippets - Open file system that can be accessed by other apps - Syntax highlighting for common programming languages There are more interesting features we cannot cover here, please try it out! ### Actions Text actions in Taio is a powerful mechanism to provide extensibility for both **clipboard** and **editor**, it works the same as the `Shortcuts` app. You can build your own workflows using several action blocks, with support for variables and control flows. Furthermore, if the built-in actions don't meet your needs, you can even write action blocks using **JavaScript**. The JavaScript engine in Taio is powered by JSBox, it provides tons of API bindings to interact with iOS. ## Customer Support Feel free to reach us out if you have any suggestions or ideas. - Website: https://taio.app - Email: hi@taio.app - Twitter: @TaioApp Privacy policy: https://docs.taio.app/#/privacy Terms of service: https://docs.taio.app/#/terms Thank you so much for reading this, we hope you enjoy using our app!

  • Nice but developer need to fix QoL issues

I was looking for a simple markdown app that will store the file in the filesystem directly, so I could also use other apps on my notes (e.g. fsnotes, obsidians) This is a nice app but the developer needs to focus on polish the app, not adding new functionality but from a USER perspective, the QoL issues, including one commented by other about numbered list. Many are like me, use "tab" to make simple outline. The "tab" and "shift tab" functions that work pretty universal in many other note app are broken. I like the app but I just can't press the purchase button unless the developer can fix the issues.
  • My Go-To

I first found this app when I was looking for something that allowed good quick-note-taking without being too simple. I originally used Drafts, and I still do for super-quick notes. But this app is slowly taking over, especially with the enhancements during every update. I love that I can use markdown (and the markdown isn't plain), and I can easily open non-Taio files to view in this editor. It is absolutely amazing - and the settings are easy to customize. Nothing is too complicated with this app - it does what it is supposed to do and I have come to rely on it more and more. Awesome work, developers!
  • The app is great but premium is too high

I would def pay $20 for this in a private option or something but $40 is crazy there are other options but maybe not as advanced yet but still available for a reasonable price.. if developer makes price more reasonable more people will buy, an update based payment model would be more beneficial for you.
  • Loving the App, Curious About

I've been using the Taio app for a while now and it's honestly a very powerful app – it's become an essential part of my work. However, I've noticed that there haven't been any recent updates. I'm curious to know why the updates have stopped, as I'm looking forward to new features and continuous improvements. Hope to see it actively supported again soon!
  • Faster sync than Obsidian, still feature light

I really wanted to love Obsidian. I spent several hours tweaking it and making it my own. Great plugin community, pinning, custom themes. But one of the main featuers I look for in a note-taking app is sync. I want my notes available anywhere so I can tap one in at a moment's notice! Every time I load Obsidian on my phone, it sits there and syncs for minutes at a time, and if I tell it to skip, who knows what will happen. Taio isn't instant, but it's much faster and I have confidence that my mobile notes will sync up with my desktop notes. Taio even has widgets for your iPhone lock screen! So for now, Taio is my reliable swiss army knife for notes. Would love to see tabbing work better (it just doesn't for me), as well as pinnnable tabs. I know there are "pro" features available but they haven't hit the "need to have" nerve for me yet.
  • Markdown the way it’s meant to be

I love this app and what it’s capable of. It’s extremely customizable and easy to use. The developer has put a lot of love into this and is constantly thinking of new features to add. After using it for a week I bought the lifetime unlock. It’s well deserved. If there were features I would really like to see that I’ve seen in other markdown services like hackmd.io it’s a “book mode” where you can compile md files into a single exported pdf and then “alert areas” on pages, that one is also on hackmd Zero complaints. Absolutely love the app!!
  • A very useful text app

This app is like a little text swiss army knife. It does so much and I am often surprised that it's not used more frequently. If you use Obsidian, for example, this is a great little companion app for accessing your Obsidian vault on mobile devices (as Taio is way more mobile-friendly than Obsidian). If you go between notes apps (like between Obsidian and Apple Notes), Taio is fantastic at converting MD files to RTF or other Apple Notes compatible formats. Taio also makes for a great scratchpad for regular text and code, and can do a numebr of things with that text and code (convert it to differnt file formats). Taio is an app I can't live without because it just does so much.
  • Doesn’t show any of my files in my drive.

I go to my drive and it says there’s 0 files in it every time. Which is wrong since I know it has files. Can’t edit any of my stuff so what’s the use.
  • Started great but development slowed down

I was hoping that this app would grow faster but it’s not added many features during the past year.
  • Nice app, but clunky

Nice editor overall, but on mac it often feels more like im interacting with an ipad app. Little things like the speed of moving the cursor when holding down the arrow keys just feel slow and off.
