I particularly like the profiles feature as it helps keep track of different schedules I’m reading. One feature toggle that is missing is showing/hiding the outline points throughout the chapter, similar to how it works with superscripts and annotations. The outline points can be distracting when reading verses in continuity.
  • Wonderful Way to Get the Light in the Word

By why did you do that?
I love this translation for its faithfulness to the original languages and its clarity in English. I’ve had a printed copy of the NT since the early 90s and the whole Bible since 2003. I regularly use this electronic version because it’s so easy to use, it’s bug free, and it’s well supported. Also, this version has so many aids to get into the Word. There is an outline of every book. There are cross references to other verses. And the highlight to me is the extensive footnotes that explicate the truths of the Bible. The footnotes reflect an emphasis on how God’s life, received through the divine birth of every believer, is available to us as believers so that Christ can do in us what we cannot do and to be in us what we cannot be. The Word is so living to me. Can’t recommend enough.
  • Awesome version, poor App

I love this Bible version! Hands down the best version for enjoying and truly understanding God’s Word. That being said, the App has its issues. Number one problem is lack of customer support. No way to contact developers with questions or issues. No phone number exists, and an email offered by the publishing company comes back as invalid. Second problem is it doesn’t seem to transfer purchase to new phones. I bought it on an iPhone and have since switched to an Android; no way to transfer the purchase. I know another user who transferred the purchase from an old iPhone to a new one seemingly fine, but now it constantly crashes. This has potential, but is currently not worth the money for what you get.

Hi I attend a Bible school which often requires me to refer to verses and footnotes. I use a MacBook Pro 2020 with Ventura 13.4.1 Please make this app compatible with Mac laptops!
  • Staying in free sample mode

This app has not worked for a while. It crashes every time trying to look up a verse. It looks like it is staying in the Free Sample mode, despite having tried to “restore the purchase” or try to “purchase again.” This is on the most updated version, but the updates have not been helping.

Please bring back the black and white "Rcv Bible" app. It was in the app store a few years ago. It had better search functionality and was simpler and quicker to open books and verses.

I recently discovered the audio function on this Bible app. You can specify a starting point and the number of chapters to have read to you. There is an excellent variety of voices to choose from. Thanks developers! I also love the ability to maintain multiple schedules in the app.

This app is well designed and I’ve yet to encounter any bugs. I really like the ability to hop to cross references as this enriches my study time and is much more efficient with time compared to using my paper Bibles.

I really wish this app would work and the developers would fix it. Very disappointing.
