  • Great but…

It seems time for a more watered down ‘lite’ and free version that is less intense with the features and thus simpler and more straight forward to use. The loaded-features nature of this app gets in its own way and family members run back to using Notes or something less intimidating.
  • Seems Good to Me

Recently upgraded the iOS app after getting a new phone. I deliberately waiting on upgrading to the latest app until I didn’t have a choice in light of all the negative reviews. To me, the iOS app seems to work perfectly fine and even with some improvements. I’m less of a fan with the changes on the macOS app. Having the window pop open seems unnecessary, and the overall UI doesn’t seem like an improvement; it’s too cumbersome and it requires unnecessary navigation steps. It was fine the way it was. Most of all, I would REALLY like to see the password generator brought back. Now the only way to create a new password is to go through the process of creating a new item itself, such as a login. But users often just need to generate a password on its own and not create a new entry.

The recent update has really been a major frustration with no resolution. It makes things feel so unsafe.
  • My Favorite and Most used App

I have used 1Password since it was first available and don’t know what I did without it. I used it not only for items that need to be secured, but also to keep track of serial numbers and warranties that I want at my fingertips. Being able to add attachments like receipts, etc. is a great feature. I like how the developer issues meaningful and useful updates, and specifically explains the content of those updates. Other apps I have issue “updates” but describe them in meaningless trite statements, like “we’ve squashed a few bugs” or “we’ve made this even better.” What does THAT mean?
  • Passkey support

Is killing me. Such a great cross-platform password manager. But come on 1password, the process of adding a passkey is making me nauseous.
  • Deauthorize sessions

Love this app so far however I cannot seem to deauthorize the other sessions logged into my 1Password 7 or 1 Password 8 or the safari webpage version. Is this common?
  • Annoying on iPad

Every single time I retrieve a password I have to go through the Touch ID drill.
  • Would not work

I signed up for the free trial, but setting up information in the app was impossible because I was not permitted to enter the information the app needed. The fields did not respond.
  • Best PW manager

It’s not a bugless experience, but 1Password is by far the best password manager I’ve ever used and has enough features to make it worth paying for and using over iCloud Keychain.
  • Unsolved bug is embarrassing for paid app

This app has not fixed a well-reported bug causing random passwords to open upon app switching in iOS. That bug has been reported for several months if not a year. For a company that generates revenue through subscriptions, having such a failure in product development is embarrassing.
