I tried a couple of these webcam recorders and this seems to be the best i have found to work for what i need which is to record and download to Youtube or other possibilities, that being said i can't remember if this was 5 dollars for life or 20 dollars but either way i appreciate the price. many want you to pay annually or monthly and i just do not do that much recording. the key is a good webcam device with a good audio mic or using an audio interface with a good mic. thanks for being the one.

With my Logitech USB Webcam on my 2010 13” MacBook Pro, the recording skips. Movements are far from smooth, more like a series of stills. There is no sound, and it saves only in .mov format, not the .MP4 that I need. To be fair, although the software runs, the computer may be too old. Will be seeking a refund.

This recorder only records in mono audion on the left channel.

Didn't think recording a webcam would be difficult, but Photobooth and iMovie didn't cut it. This app is very simple and does as it is named, but you can't save the camera and mic selection for next time. I just want to be able to quicklky record the video and audio from a USB webcam, not my FaceTime camera.

Just refund my 4.99. You know this thing doesn't work. So just take it down you and the app store should be ashame.

Would totally give 5 stars but the audio is recorded in mono, it gives the option to use what ever camera and audio interface you have connected which is awesome but when I use my usb mixer to record multiple instruments for the audio, with a nice wide stereo mix, the video playback is in mono. Seems an easy fix fro the Dev!!! Please make it record in Stereo!!! Otherwise great \m/
