Cappuccino - stay in touch

This app has allowed me to keep in touch with my very good long distance friends for the last two years. 🥲 I love it so much and think it’s the best “social media” because it’s actually social. So amazing and hope it keeps growing!!!

My college girlfriends and I are spread out over the globe and we’ve been using this every day for ver two years. I would be devastated if it ever went away, it’s helped us stay connected and brings so much joy daily, I’m eternally grateful!

My friends and I have been using this since early 2022 every single day. It has brought us so much closer as a friend group to hear what’s going on in eachothers lives every day. I will forever cherish what this app has done for us!!

I think this is SUCH a cute idea and designed so well for a smooth experience! I just wish that there was a clearer indication for people to respond to a prompt, like “check out x’s response, now it’s your turn!” Kind of thing bc it doesn’t seem clear to everyone if they should respond to same prompt or wait for a new one

I’ve probably been using this app for about a year — I’m a terrible texter, so having this convenient way to update my friends about my life and hear about theirs is PERFECT. The app sometimes glitches but I honestly don’t care - the totally new approach to keeping up with my friends it totally worth it.

This App is a wonderful way to keep in touch with family. The members of the main are my two daughters, and three of my grandchildren. We try to make sure at least one of the five of us records each day so we can continue our “streak”, now at about 450. I love starting each day by hearing from my family and seeing the pictures they post.

This is literally so fun, especially if I’m bored out of my mind and don’t have anything to do. Me and my friends are having so much fun with this, one of my fav apps for sure

I like the concept, but the app is confusing to use

I have been using cappuccino with my long distance friends for a few years now, and it’s great! Recently they created a premium version which I was going to pay because I want to support the app, however I saw the prices and can’t justify it. $5/week is $260/year and $10/week is $120/year. That’s more than I pay for apps with several tools and features. And instead of adding valuable features besides prompts (my friends and I make our own for free) they put things we already use behind a paywall. I don’t like the feeling of being forced into premium by taking away things we’re used to. I’m currently looking for another app or going back to Snapchat, but will use the free version for a little longer. Edit: If Cappuccino had plans to release new, actually premium features, I would be down to support. As of now, being able to access prompts and listen to week old audio is basic and I’d pay $35-$60/year just to show support because I do enjoy the app, but not because premium is worth it. It seems like it would be a better move to pivot your marketing and present actual premium features to a paying audience. I’ll email y’all for sure!
