  • Some issues but overall a helpful tool

I’m preparing for my PHR and have been using this app for a little over 2 months. Overall it’s a good study tool but I would definitely recommend other tools as well. There are several spelling and grammar errors throughout the questions and at least one question marked my answer wrong but based on the explanation and other study materials it was right! This is a good tool as long as it’s not your only tool! May try to update my review after I take the test in 2 weeks!

I did pass my SPHR exam and I believe this was useful. I would not use this exclusively but it would be best to use this in the last 2 months of studying. It is convenient and is updated monthly to reflect the changes on the exam.

App is good for getting a wide variety of questions in order to know everything in the Body of Knowledge. However, similar to the ASQ Study Guide, there are some questions where the answers are wrong. There have been multiple times where their reasonings for an answer have been incorrect and the correct answer (word-for-word) can be found in ASQ Handbook. Aside from some incorrect answers when reviewing, it is a pretty solid app. Edit: In addition to this, it makes perfect sense why their “refund policy” requires you to also do good on THEIR quizzes. Funny enough their answers are incorrect so good luck getting that appropriate score to get a refund if you don’t past your test. Edit 2: I did submit some questions to support. They seemed concerned about getting the questions properly reviewed and fixed, so hopefully that can be done. With a little bit more updating, I do believe this app can be excellent resource for passing certification exams. Will be using for PMP as well.

I took a class for the exam but this app really sealed the deal for me last few month of studying. Quick feedback on wrong answers is great and showing overall performance was really helpful.

I used PocketPrep for my CAPM and I contribute it to the success I had on my exam. However, for the PMP, meh. Often, (the set list of questions mind you) there are no references from where the information was gathered. I understand the PMP includes a plethora of different sources and also experience however at the minimum I’d expect a breakdown of why alternate answers are incorrect. Both the source and the answer comparisons would preferred on ALL not some. This was especially frustrating when there were questions that were vague paired with “right” answers that were are a complete stretch. For $20 a month it’s not worth it for higher level exams.
  • CNAMB or CNOR Review?

Do not be fooled if you are prepping for the CNAMB, they advertise as such and you receive a CNOR exam. Two different certifications, I would expect two different prep courses. If you are an AORN member you can get the CNOR prep free with your membership. My suggestion would be to use those resources.

Great app with reminders to study and tons of statistics to measure how you’re doing in different subjects. This helped me pass my ASP exam :).

Helped with both the ASP and the CSP. I really enjoyed and benefited from the Quick 10’s when I had a few free minutes
  • Passed ASP & CSP first attempt

I’ve utilized PocketPrep premium to study for the ASP and CSP for roughly 3 months and passed both exams on the first apptempt. I highly recommend PocketPrep. I’m going to begin studying for the CHMM, unfortunately, PocketPrep doesn’t support the CHMM. I wish they did!
