For people that have no idea what they're doing.... Hello? This is pig latin to me. I got this to do a floor plan for a house and can't figure how to even get started with setting a perimiter.

Very intuitive program, and amazing features for the money. I was surprised by it's flexibility!
I had a fairly complex kitchen design up the day I purchased the app.
My wife is even happier than me!
Working with CAD is easier

When an app makes drawing a box hard, you know it's time to move on. It's literally that bad. Plus, the interface is straight from Windows 95.
I wanted so much to like this

I wanted to like this. It seems to have the featurs that I want.
But I couldn't seem to change the ruler size. I couldn't select and remove a line I misplaced. The scale kept changing back to 1:50.
I wanted to like it. But I can't.
Works very well for the price

I've used simple CAD floorplan apps for a number of years for maybe a dozen projects or so. I'm in the midst of a home remodel of our kitchen and master bath, but also analyzed some further possibilities for an addition to the house and a re-purpose of a bedroom into a large master closet. Side applications for this current project include planning for cutting granite slab to fit multiple counters and the construction of a raised garden bed for the side yard. These projects are very simple, but after you get used to it the software is easy to use and I appreciate the capability for accuracy in construction planning. I don't use 3-D, and wonder how good it would be for more challenging projects, but for simple tasks and under $20, this software works perfectly.
great fir beginners

I was able to plan a festival with this application. I had no experience before so I found it tricky but completely learnable.
Everyone thought a professional mapped the grounds :)
Almost Perfect!

I was impressed with how easy to use, provide 3D view, not complicated to start using but yet have so many features and no interruption with popup because I delete any application has too many limitations or frequent popups. The cost for FloorDesign 2 In-app purchase is $16.99 and another versoin FloorDesign in Apple store $13.99
This app name was FloorDesign 3D - Rip off

This app name was FloorDesign 3D and I purchased that app for about $15-$20, a year ago. I liked the simple app. I got a new Macbook and I want to install the same app to new Macbook. Now that app has been renamed to this app FloorDesign2 and I have to pay again to use it, such rip off strategy. It's ridiculous !!! , What's the gaurantee that again name will be changed after I purchased it ??, I should report this gamble to apple.
