    This game is awesome. I am always looking for a great iOS game that isn’t a money pit or made for children. This one is perfect! I highly recommend it to anyone. It is intimidating at first but keep playing, it’s worth it.

  • Fantastic with Bug

    I have played this on many platforms now and it’s a great game. Little grind, great card play, and replayability. Slight edge to PC versions for modding ability. On PC I was able to immediately unlock access to Keys and Act 4. On iOS despite beating Act 3 multiple times I cannot get access to Keys and ultimately Act 4. Any recommendations? I’d rate this game higher if not for that. I played it on Steam recently for PC and almost immediately beat Act 3 with the first 3 characters and unlocked the Keys and Act 4. I’ve had the game on iOS for years and have beat Act 3 with ALL characters a minimum of 3 times each (more for some) and no love. Very frustrating. This game is therefore dead to me on iOS until that can be resolved. I’m an Apple ecosystem person so it’s a big fat bummer to not have it work on my most used platform.

  • iCloud save data overwrites local save

    As the app loads an infrequent pop up asks me to choose the option of local save or iCloud save to restore. I can never remember which one has the most recent progress and choosing the wrong one erases weeks of progression. Hopefully the developer fixes this issue by allowing access to the local or iCloud save all the time.

  • Having Issues unlocking Act 4

    I love playing this game and I’ve beat the act 3 bosses as The Ironclad, The Silent, The Defecr, and even The Watcher. Despite having unlocked ascension on ironclad, silent, and defect it wont allow me to get keys and thus I can never play Act 4. I’ve tried deleting the app and reinstalling it but nothing seems to work. I would love it if this issue was resolved.

    I really liked this game on console, however this app seems to have audio issues. No audio plays at all. I have changed all the settings in the app, checked all settings on my phone, and even uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Nothing is working, how to see a fix soon so I can rate this game the 5 stars it deserves.

  • Don't waste your time

    Potentially a great game but its ruined by how little choice you get in each run. Yes its supposed to be like that, but they went too far. On one run you could get the exact combination of relics and cards to become a god and fly through every boss without taking damage. The next 9 you'll get all crap and die before the end of act 2. And theres way, way, WAY too much of a random factor involved. They should have designed it so you get more choices for cards, relics and potions each consecutive run, that way your final deck might not be stronger than with the base cards, but you could at least have control over it. But the current state is to do 10 runs in a row, die or abandon 9 of them, and have 1 where you get so overpowered it becomes boring Its clear they just designed and released the game without going in to fine tune or balance any of it, and i'm very disappointed that I wasted money on this

  • Great game but requires active internet connection

    I love Slay the Spire and this port is excellent. It’s sometimes awkward to select your card on a touchscreen when there are a large number of cards to choose from, but every mobile TCG I’ve played has this issue. The real issue is Id love to play this game when I don’t have internet (e.g. on a flight) but the game will not let you play without internet due to save syncing that you cannot turn off.
