    It’s nothing like it used to be. You expect a game like “Gems of War” but with the OG mechanics and map travel. This is an embarrassment p2w version of the once beloved franchise. Devs are greedy and evil. Avoid this game like plague.

  • Every update they have introduced for the last four months has worked against the player

    I regret installing and playing this game for as long as I did, every week there is an update to delay your ability to grow or progress, and to make it harder to get anything even if you spend hundreds of dollars, luckily I did not

  • Really Fun game, huge battery drain

    The game is really fun and I enjoyed the gameplay. The biggest thing that made me stop is my phone battery would die very quickly and would get very hot. I lowered all the settings and this still occurred. Wish they could fix this cause would love to pick the game up again.

  • Economy broken at level cap

    Forums have complained for years. Devs don't listen. Epic runes and scrolls (mid tier) are very low drop rate, making most items and spells forever stuck at mid evolution, despite overflowing with top tier components. Not fun once you max level. Especially if you spent money getting there.

    Grabbed this game because I was looking for a puzzle game with a bit of plot that doesn’t collect ridiculous amounts of data. This game fits the bill and is fun - I could see myself getting deeply invested - but for one serious flaw. The game overheats my phone within minutes of opening it, even if I’m not playing a level. Battery goes from full to nothing insanely fast. The devs are apparently aware of the issue; the community forums have been talking about the problem since Jul ‘23 and it’s listed as a known issue on the support site. But there’s no indicator that it is being worked on (and it is now Feb ‘24). I’ll check back in with subsequent updates but this game is not fun enough to kill my phone over.

    My only problem with the game is that it makes my iPhone 14 overheat after about 10 minutes of playtime. But those 10 minutes are a lot of fun!

  • Battery Draining Game

    The game was fun until I noticed the battery being drained quickly and my phone was heating up really bad. I even got a notification while trying to charge and play this game stating it would not charge until the phone resumed to, “normal temperatures.” I cannot deny that I enjoy this Modern micro-transaction approach to the sequel of my beloved Puzzle Quest 2, however, the power drainage is insane. The game is fun without a doubt, I just don’t like the overheating.

    Thanks for opening a new season, but 10 days before you can play the next chapter is way too long. At level 35 to 39, can’t beat the boss, with out starting a new character and playing everything over again. Leveling is way to slow, other activities give next to no experience. Why is there a gold cap at 10,000? No explanation on how pets work or how to use them. Finding matching gear is also way to hard. Fix this & more for a 5 star rating.
