  • Is taking a wrong path

"I've played the game since day one without fail. I liked that it was generous with gems—I would say it was the best free-to-play (f2p) game. However, in the last few months and with this latest patch, everything changed. Gems are now scarce; you no longer get the 2000 gems for completing the weekly events. Instead, you get 150 gems for each box in the new system. The 2000 gems for the bi-weekly event have been replaced by 1500 crystals for weapon fusion. The game seems to be heading down a worrisome path."

I’ve been playing this game for almost 3 years now and I cannot quit it! I’ve played many mobile gachas over the past years but this one is The Keeper. It’s a veritable carnival ground for turn based RPG gamers. I highly recommend!

Super great game for f2p and low spenders, you can get all the meta units as a f2p plus some extra waifu and husbando if you spend a bit more

One of Square’s best rpg of it class, low gacha rates for f2p players, and back to back epic UDX banners, been playing for 3 years and still great end game content!

So, so, so happy with this game. I’ve always been very fond of Saga Frontier and I love being able to collect all my favorite characters and play a new story with them. This game is also very F2P friendly!!! Great game and can’t wait to see how far it goes.

Been playing this game sense release. It’s so F2P friendly, they basically hand you shards to max level ur favorite units or put them in training to slow grind for them. Such a fun game. The only real time sink is how much time you want to put into it to build up your team. You gain stats as you battle so allot of battles are needed to take a unit to their best form. But again, up to you how much time to play. With auto battle it is so simple now to start a repeat battle and let it sit while u work or do other things. Can’t recommend this game enough, it’s an enjoyable game you can spend hours or even just a few minutes in.

Celebrate everything SaGa and enjoy spectacular music. Also, Romancing SaGa Minstrel Song Remaster is out now. It’s one of the best remasters SE has ever done. Support SaGa!

App will download and open but after selecting language and region the game requires additional download and it keeps prompting insufficient storage space but I have plenty. Please fix and I will update review.

Great SaGa collectors game. For the love of god, give the ability to turn off tips/walk throughs. I don’t need to learn everything everytime I switch or load into a new device. Game sadly wont last another year.

As a RS fan, I can’t tell enough the pleasure to play my favorite characters in one game, err gacha game. The game is awesome, very F2P friendly, very responsive support team (ladies doing the stream), and nice old school music. Game is grinds as you would expect from romancing saga series. However, with the bonus you can keep things going fast with characters. We’re going through events fast to catch-up to jp version, but they provide plenty of gems and stamina potions. So we’re not behind much when it comes to those. With that being said, the game needs works in 3 areas that I feel critical and why I lowered my 5* to 4*. 1. With legging behind and getting crippled HEAVILY by not getting enough awakening books if you compare it to the very hasty schedule we have. If you don’t pull much you won’t notice since the gems you’re accumulating is making unaware of the problem that is getting out of hand every day. If you’re pulling crazy in every banner, like my friend, god bless her, then you will notice the problem and be quite frustrated. We’re bursting through events. It’s fair to ask them to address this problem. 2. The same problem with the above but change AB to Dojo medals. We need bonus or double medals to compensate the hasty schedule. If we catch the jp they will be more geared and prepared than us cause the had a steady and mind numbing schedule haha. But this isn’t a big issue if the dev team keeps the difficulty checked cause that dragon and his wacko RNG behavior was really a bad idea. Strategy and character formation over RNG nonsense in my RS games please. 3. The game is based on the Japanese version and heavily decided before even coming to us. A lot of the strong and most useful characters are females. Males are an afterthought in this game. I understand that concept sell there and here to a degree (unfortunately), but we in the west tend to favor males too. A lot of polls I see people bringing up the name KHALID. and it isn’t without reason. He’s one of the few people of color. Very strong, dependent and one of the protagonists of RS3. the guy was a unit. In RSR however, he’s a joke. 3-4 styles of tragedy and disaster, and distaste of the misuse the guy get in general in this game. And this is not only Khalid. Most of the guys get the same bad treatment while girls get to shine. The buffs, and global exclusive were all for females. You stopped doing buffs recently, probably to people’s outrage regarding the matter. I dunno what’s their problem with men lol I’m female and it’s distasteful and annoying dealing with it. I used to play DFFOO (one of the ladies does too, I remember her), and the balance is nice between both genders. RS is a blossom when it comes to both genders, but not in this game (gacha). It’s sad and unfortunate when money decides these crucial things. I also play fate grand order, and they’re notorious for having too many lol is and females over men, but at least the guys there rock and very powerful. In fact the top tier list was always ruled by them till much later. Here’s food for thought, RS team. Shameful. Sorry for my typos. Not bothering checking. I’ll let auto correct do the job lol. It’s a very good game. Just some annoyance came along with it that can be easily fixed. Until then I think the 4* is very fair. I highly recommend it. Edit: 3 years later and same problems remain. You’d figure they’d learn a lesson, but nope. They lowered the drop rate of units too. Gems are a scarce compared to before. I know, because I’m a whale. I hate the continuous mistreatment to Khalid. I hate the GLEX picks, and I absolutely hate Katrina getting so many additions while others more worthy bite the dust. Despicable!
