  • Linking problems

The app didn’t link to my Apple Watch and won’t update so the steps were off.
  • Love the app. Starting out slow and building. I’m 78 and it’s got me moving now in the winter

Unfortunately I will not be able to continue after the introduction month. It’s too expensive for my budget
  • Pricing is deceptive

Be careful with the “special” intro pricing. After one month of a trial I received an invoice for $38.95 for the next month. Feels like a rip off for the value that you receive from the app. Then I tried to look at my data before the end of my last day PST and it wouldn’t even let me access it without agreeing to pay again. I rarely write negative app reviews, but this app definitely deserves one.
  • Not for a true beginner

App needs a control to adapt pace to slower for a true beginner. Or to leave out background music. It’s like a Zumba class that says it’s for beginners but no one shows you how the steps and moves are supposed to be executed. It assumes you already have some pre knowledge of advanced or complex movements. If it was truly meant for an actual beginner then it would understand the new beginner needs some practice and guidance and teaching. Still, with all that said, I will still keep using the WalkFit app and just do the best I can.

I love this app because it gives me incentive to get out there and walk. I have mobility problems and so my idea of fast walking in their idea of fast walking or two different things. I do enjoy the app, however.
  • Like it so far, but..

I like this app, it’s fun and I love how the workouts build up. Have not experienced any glitches so far. My only thing is I just wish it would include the calorie counter/scanner, so you could log your meals and track your calories too. I had to download another app, it’s expensive!
  • Scam

Don’t buy it it’s an absolute scam the steps don’t even match the miles they want walked or the time. And it’s 15 dollars just for a weeks use.
  • Great walking app! I’m hooked.

I really love this app so far. I have done 6 workouts and the progression of difficulty is perfect in my opinion. I’ve lost a pound already. It’s fun and I look forward to doing the workouts each day. I love the two instructors with completely different body types. Very inclusive.
  • Not worth it

    Doesn’t accurately track steps.
  • Doesn’t sync well to fitbit or apple health

I like the app and I paid a lot for it because I thought it did everything. It says it syncs to Apple health or Fitbit to get all of your information so you don’t have to put everything in by hand because who has time for that nowadays. But it does not sync well and most days not at all. When it didn’t sync to my Apple health, I bought a Fitbit for this reason so I’ve wasted even more money. When my membership is up I will not be renewing it. There are regular exercises in Apple Health that are just as good as WalkFit.
