I love how I can put in items without an and time. Having issues syncing between devices. Don't like if you just assign a location as "afternoon" it will show at the bottom of the day's itinerary vs in timeline order. Parking also doesn't show on itinerary, but does have it on the main trip page. I like it better than TripIt and Wonderlog.
  • Great replacement for TripIt

I'm a longtime user of TripIt but just switched over and it's 95% of what I was using before. The one (very odd) omission is that when importing flights, for some reason Tripsy doesn't read the name of the passenger—there doesn't even seem to be a field within Tripsy to store that information. It's a very strange product choice, as it can create confusion when a single trip contains multiple flights for multiple people. I emailed the developer about this but didn't get a response. Anyway, it's not quite a dealbreaker and I'm otherwise really happy with Tripsy—a great translation of TripIt's functionality into a beautiful, Apple-native experience.

I am a Tripsy Pro subscriber and like this app. I use it for dozens of shared trips a year. But it has major problems with editing events. Half the time edits don't stick and you close out of an item and find it totally unchanged on your itinerary. Time zone support is also a disaster. Time changes don't stick, trips and events move around the world from time zone to time zone. There's no consistent anchor or method to handling and entering times. Perhaps all the problems relate to the way the app stores data. Its sync just doesn’t work well and you need to be aware that data loss can occur. Sometimes events revert to previous versions hours after a change was made. If you move an attachment from one event to another, sometimes the attachment will simply disappear; it is neither on the old event nor the new. Sometimes you simply cannot change the time of an event no matter what you do. Usability and UI design could really use some work.
  • Super Buggy

Setting an itinerary is an exercise in frustration as destination times refuse to save at least 40% of the time. When they do save, the app decides to change dates on relaunch. Needs work. 4/13 And latest update broke the widgets. Sigh
  • No live updates

The design of the app is definitely 5 stars. Where the Tripsy is legging no live updates on flight delays or gate changes, other similar apps provide that info.

Takes so much stress out of traveling, especially with a group. Love this app and wouldn’t want to travel without it.
  • The Best Travel Planner I've Used It works on Mac

Tripsy is by far the most advanced and user-friendly travel planner that I've used so far and I do not know how there could be an app better. It also is a Macbook friendly app, which is a HUGE plus. Definitely recommend!
  • This would be great without 3am sleep disturbances

Tipsy has many positive features to organize travel. For the most part I really like the app, but there’s one glaring flaw. When a 5:30am wake-up time becomes 3:30 am, for no good reason except that Tripsy wants to send “emergency “ notifications on the watch that a gate has been assigned or changed, the missing sleep makes this app so. Not. Worth. It. I have my watch and phone in sleep mode. Only emergency notifications should come through. But Tripsy manages to get them buzzing me anyway. I don’t know why or how, nor can I find a setting to turn it off. II just know that I’ve lost more than a few nights of good sleep before travel due to this bug. “Why are you wearing your watch at night?” —> sleep monitoring and afib monitoring. An app that is this disrespectful of the importance of sleep doesn’t deserve more than two stars, no matter how good or bad it is otherwise.

I love having all trip details in one place, and it’s made convenient to forward confirmation emails to the app and automatically on my phone calendar. It would be useful to have a pre trip checklist of things I need to do and a place for a packing list. I like having a trip history to refer to later if traveling to the same place again. It would be helpful to have a section to rate the restaurant, museum, etc after to help jog my memory for recommendations or if a restaurant is worth a repeat visit.
