  • Poor customer service

    By dhruval44
They kept on billing me for 4 months after cancelling my service. And the customer service is pathetic. They did not even understand my issue

  • iPhone 12th mini user, my thoughts:

    By KarthG
Pros: love how fast and easy it is to change plans. I travel a lot so upgrading/downgrading my plan to accommodate for that is easy. Despite still being in beta for iPhone, they are clearly still supporting it. Since launch they’ve made good on their promises to add features like WiFi calling, iMessage etc. features that weren’t available for launch are now rolled out. I had an issue when in New Zealand where I couldn’t connect to any data service. A call to support helped me reconnect to the local network, and I had great LTE speeds all over the country, as good as if I had a local SIM card. Cons: I live in Seattle and it’s frustrating how often service will just drop. Out of nowhere about once a day my service will go from LTE to Google Edge, a bare minimum emergency mode. Or display full LTE but I can’t actually load anything. This problem usually clears itself up in 3-5 minutes but still, frustrating. Also, Google Fi supports 5G. The iPhone mini supports 5G. Still no actual 5G. But as mentioned above I'm confident it is on the way, provided they keep supporting like they are. Overall I’m pretty happy with the service, but it’s frustrating how it’s advertised as beta for iPhones but we still pay full price for packages with features that just aren’t available. But at the end of the day it’s one of the most affordable phone plan services, and the T-Mobile service it piggybacks off of is surprisingly effective in places that I didn’t think T-Mobile would reach out it. I just hope they keep ironing out the bugs and work faster on better iPhone support.
  • Does not work properly

You have to uninstall and install again the app every time you change a country, and also contact the google support to get instructions on what to do to make it work. I do not recommend this app

  • Best in the business! Spam filtering needs some TLC

    By Xit
This number has been with everyone, equipment top of the line always, equipment condition? iPhone top tier 6-14 pro max maxed stainless steel when available every year Day 1. To be seen with last years model?! Uncivilized! This number has been: Origing Sprint PCS = No comment. We don’t speak I’ll of the dead . 8 years VzW = Wonderful until you need something and have to call until you get someone with skill. eSim at 11Pro max had a Known issue. imei 2 points at different carrier and device. Called for 28 days til I found someone that fixed it in 15 mines. T-Mobile… 5 days. Duces. Nuff said. AT&T, 2 years= i already know you having problems let me help. Their website /customeragreement look for click that link and submit that arbitration form below the 10 “We sorry call support back and we’ll be good” messages and the Office of The President will call you in 24 hours and everyone at 611 will get right. Google FI = I always know I’m going to have an issue and I’m always, wrong. I’ve had need to contact support 3 times for super technical issues that have been fixed in under 5 minutes, sent and email with a case number and supplemental articles for DIY people like myself. I don’t call anymore the solution to every problem you can think of is in an article. The last issue I had was so complex I did not think it was possible to do. Leaving AT&T with my equipment they paid for and unlocked(arbitration will fix your issue) with an iPhone 12 Pro Max ported 6 months prior on the email address I needed for the 13 pro max and the Fi rule of 1 phone number per email and my directive that both numbers not be lost. To the impossible Fi, had me start a new email then sent 2 emails for me to reply “I agree” from new email join fi> 12 Leaves Fi and Number port, to Fi!>join fi again from primary email> Port from AT&T in under 10 minutes. The rep, showing off at this point , is sending support articles with the information I needed to get the app and configure iMessages and getting started tips while juggling 4 phone numbers. 1 call resolution 8:32. With Fi on the scene working at that level ALL THE TIME, If you aren’t here, you need to be here. Comparing them to the others is kind of a joke. 💯 This would be 30 calls to AT&T and VZW to resolve. T-Mobile rep and network would have burst into flames. Value = 5 stars Coverage = 5 Self-Service = 5 stars Support = The best in the business. Spam and call filtering = it’s there, it’s just inconvenient. You really need to improve that workflow Text spam filtering = does not exist. Please get on this. AT&T Active Armor is the best. Please stop get to work on this so I never have to say anything nice about them again. The best the carrier the roaming consumer has ever seen. Good job!
  • Doesn’t work well with iOS

    By Mooney1225
I’ve had google for about 5 months now, and while service is mexico is very good, the experience in the US has been terrible. Coverage is very spotty, and I’m constantly having to reset network settings or delete and re-download the app to try to restore service. Definitely not ready for general use for those of us with iPhones .
  • Crash, cannot use even reinstall it again!

    By Gowander
Recently the app crashed, click on the app, it started then immediately closed. Tried to reinstall a few times but no help, even deleted all data, app should have QA before release new version. Don’t believe it, what is reason? I cannot access to voice message any more!
  • No way to block/report spam VMs from app

    By Maddunr
Note: this feedback is specifically for the ios app, not the service itself, which I would rate higher. The service lets a lot of spam calls through. I have calls from unknown numbers silenced on my phone; so, they go straight to voicemail. So, now, I get a ton of spam voicemails that I have to delete individually because the app doesn’t allow multiple delete and, more importantly, I can’t block/report these spam numbers from the app. For that, I need to go back to the missed call list on the phone, cross reference the voicemail on the app to ensure they are spam, and then go back to the phone missed call list to block/report it. Takes about a minute per spam voicemail. Instead, it could have just been a button in the app in the VM screen.
