Rain City

Hey All, I love all your games but on Rain City there’s a glitch. I am stuck in the jail section. I’m supposed to be able to walk up to get apple from guard (his back is facing me) but I am told that I should come back at another time and thus unable to get apple to lure super rat to chase out the guard. It just pushes me out without giving me options to take the apple. I’ve looked through the walkthroughs and that’s what your supposed to do but game isn’t allowing me to do so.

Smart, entertaining, cool

I got this game three days ago and it was amazing, the story book graphics really make you feel in the vibe, the story was amazingly written, the puzzles are not that hard for a beginner like me, and the plot twist at the end was amazing, I highly recommend this game, it is really fun, and is only for two dollars. This is definitely one of the best games Cotton Games ported from pc.

THIS IS SUCH A FUN GAME!!!!!! People say that they can’t get pass the arcade game but it wasn’t that hard I just finished playing and it took me about a week. There where some parts I had to look up how to do but for the most part I could do it by myself. The plot twist is crazy and I did not expect it. It’s actually so fun. You need to get this game. Please get this game. Don’t listen to the bad reviews. ITS SOOO FUNNNNN!!!!!

very enjoyable puzzler with beautiful art. there are several arcade-style games that a little tricky, so if you want a pure point-and-click then this one isn’t for you. I had to consult a walkthrough about 3 times to finish—no built in hints!

I can’t continue with the game because of the fighter arcade game that I can’t seem to win. It’s too bad because I was starting to really like the game. We need a skip option for these types of mini games. I’m not sure why they added that as it detracts from the games.

I loved this game because it was such a story and it had some big twists but overall I think the only thing people rate it low for is one arcade game and it’s not that bad. You should get it.

I love escape games and love Cotton Games. I’ve bought and played them all. So I was really happy to see a new one - but - it’s got arcade games and the one in the room with the rabbit band is hard to beat! I wish developers would understand that people who like to solve puzzles are generally not the same people who like to play arcade games. I’ve tried multiple times to beat this one and am now just frustrated. And I was really getting into this game, too. This may be where I stop and delete. Dear Cotton Games... would you consider giving us a skip option on the arcade games? I’d love to finish this game. It would easily be a five star game if I could progress but that seems impossible at the moment. Without a skip option on the arcade games I’ll think twice before jumping to buy the next Cotton game. Update: tried contacting dev. No response. Deleting this one.

Cotton Games makes incredible adventure games! Unfortunately, this is one of their lesser efforts. Boring story, bad humor, shoddy translation, and imbalanced easy/impossible puzzle content. Not HORRIBLE, but I definitely wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Go Play Isoland or The Elevator or Mr. Pumpkin instead, because THEY are worth it!

This game has the visual appeal of Isoland and other Cotton Games, but other than that, I found I was frustrated and disappointed by the game itself. The “puzzles” often had no logic behind them and I had to rely on a walkthrough to have any idea what to do. The mechanics were also irritating in iPad as you had to move to the exact right spot and path to do anything and he movement would get caught on things. The art combined with mechanics also made it difficult to see where possible doors or paths where (often they were only marked by a floor mat or hidden in the dark edge of the drawing. Lastly, the story was very weak and clearly translated/written by a non-English speaker. I could typically forgive that, but all things combined, I was happy to be done with this game by the end.
