Needs an instruction manual... I have no idea how it works and what it can do...

for all reading this review , I would say that the night sky is better because of its much more attractive features but skysafari is also fine . Skysafari needs improvment 🤨

SkySafari 6 has everything that I was looking for and then some: Names of constaltions, stars and planets, also the display changes autimatically keyed to my location and time of day. I can change to direction up and down 360 deg to view anything above (or delow) the horizon. Plus lots more that I am just stating to explore. New Apple OS did not support the celestial app that I had oved for over 10 years. Others proved to be a waste of time and money.

This is an excellent astronomy program, unless perhaps you might be a professional and in need of something rather more powerful. Don't hesitate to spring for this, and it is worth if to purchase the in-house add-ons as you can see fit to do so.

Purchased this app because I’m a novice at identifying objects in the sky. It works well and doesn’t seem to have any bugs. I’m using it on a 2010 MacBook running HIgh Sierra. The features in it are intuitive. One night it showed the Hubble Space Telescope rising; I went out and used the program to orient myself and sure enough, there was the HST.
