  • MacOS App Hopelessly Broke

    Latest version 3.4.3 is broke. iCloud doesn't sync My Flights from iOS app to macOS app. If it syncs, flights get put under Friends Flights. When new flights are entered to My Flights on macOS, they get put under Friends Flights. Brought up with developers, customer service acknowledged but no update to fix issue. Pretty disappointing to pay almost $50 per year for the Pro version to see the app not work properly.

    I would just like to say that it was a great pleasure to travel with Breeze Airlines again. I can confirm that they have the best people in the industry that are willing to work for their customers. From the start of booking your flight to the airport and to the plane their staff makes sure that you are the number 1 priority to them. I would just Love to make a commercial for them to tell everyone about their superior service and their staff. Keep up the great work Breeze Hierarchy as you are making a Good Company Go Great.     Absolutely no complaints, the features work flawlessly. As someone who is terrified of flying I flew for the first time in 10 years using Flighty as backup. The flight was delayed but I knew before anyone else at the terminal because I had live updates. Can’t recommend more!

    By far my favorite travel app (as someone who flies weekly) and one of the few apps I’m willing to pay for. Unfortunately I’ve had to disable notifications though. Like every app, Flighty has gone bananas with waaaaaaaay too many notifications (you’re flight is getting ready to take off, your flight is taking off, your flight took off, your flight is flying around in the sky, hey there are clouds around your flight, you’re going to land someday, you’re about to land, you've landed, you landed a while ago, you landed yesterday, etc). Yeah I exaggerate a little bit, but it’s not too far off. It would be refreshing for app designers (and email marketing “experts) to wake up to the fact that people HATE too many notifications. The more one gets something, the less value it has. How about offering notifications for just important items such as when something goes wrong (gate changes, significant delays, a wing falls off, etc), instead of EVERYTHING? Peace and love Flighty team ✌️

    This app revolutionized the way I travel. I can check my flight and flight options whenever my flight is delayed. It syncs beautifully with my calendar . Hope they create different friends flights profile in the future as right now I have all friends , family and work colleagues flights together . For “my flights” it works great. A sync with Apple Watch would be nice also. These are just improvements details from a robust , reliable 5* app !

  • Why can’t I just use the app without spamming for premium?

    I track a flight maybe 3-4 times a year. Every time I open the app it’s always “get the pro version” ad. Horrible experience. Will never purchase.

  • Unable to add flights

    All of sudden in the last week I have not been able to add flights. Once I type the airport code it does not generate. When I hit next the previous flight I inputted only comes up. Please fix

    One of the key things missing for me in this app is information on the planes altitude. I find this to be interesting and useful information that all other flight trackers (eg FlightAware and Flightradar24) have. It’s also a bit concerning that sensitive information like your booking code get shared when you share a flight with someone. There should definitely be an option for this. “Where’s my plane” is also pretty buggy often. Shows multiple conflicting flights, or no tail number ever available. It seems like you should be able to get more accurate data for this. Also, a promo code to discount the annual or lifetime purchase would help… 😃
