An excellent app! Keeps track and keeps you updated with all the latest updates and information on the flight. I totally recommend it!
  • Mac App Troulbe Loading Map

The iPhobne app has no troulbe loading the map under the flight path on airplane wifi. Yet the Mac app is unbelievably slow to load, and sometimes absolutely refuses to. It also won't load in the background, so if I want to see the map, I have to sit on the app for 5 - 10 minutes. This is with plenty fast airplane wifi where every other aspect of my system is working fine with said connection.
  • An absolute essential for flight crew and frequent flyers

I have spent most of my airline career being frustrated when I’m the last to know about changes to a flight I’m the captain of. Why am I the last to know? Couldn’t someone tell me these things? Flighty picks up where airline internal facing IT drops off. Really where airline general internal communication drops off. What gate are we out of? It’s right there on the Lock Screen. Are we on time? Right there. Don’t even have to unlock the phone. And it all just appears automatically as it imports your schedule. Need to add a commute flight to it? Just yeet the confirmation email off to flighty and it’s in there. Doesn’t matter who the flight is on. Inbound flight status? Yep. You get all that. It just tells you. Don’t even have to ask. I can’t emphasize how much the “it just does it” factor weighs in here. You just point Flighty to your calendar and it just runs. You don’t have to add flights. It’s doing that in the background. Halfway to your walk to gate 97, they change it to gate 2? You get a notification. You don’t have to walk up to the gate like a stripy shouldered chump looking like you’ve never heard of a gate change before. Then there’s just the “cool” factor stuff. Map of your flights over the last year? How many miles youve flown? It’s in there. Not essential info, but neat.
  • The absolute best tracker

As a former designer at Apple I am probably the pickiest person in the world when it comes to apps. Flighty is hands down the best flight tracker and probably one of my top five favorite apps in the entire App Store. It supports live activities on the Home Screen and shows a countdown to departure along with your gate on the Dynamic Island. The iPhone widget is lovely, as is the Apple Watch app. iMessage is well supported with a nice share UI for friends. If there’s a neat iOS feature it can use this app absolutely does. Notifications are incredible. My flight was repeatedly delayed and I Flighty told me about it faster than Southwest’s text messages. I don’t travel enough to make the annual membership worth it and love that they offer a weekly pay as you go plan. This app is clearly made with care and love. No other flight tracker comes close. I can’t say enough about how much I love this thing. Hats off to the team behind it, they’re truly stellar.
  • Poor Customer Service

There’s an ongoing software issue with background refreshing on Apple Watch, where it won’t automatically sequence to the next flight in a multi-leg day, you have to open the app each time on the Apple Watch. I contacted support months ago and followed their advice with no success. There’s an obvious software glitch that they don’t seem too keen on fixing

There are few apps that I love, but this is one of them. It’s a well designed, impeccably executed product whose feature set is well considered and just make sense. And this app has been a lifesaver with respect to delays and cancellations countless times. I never take a flight that isn’t in flighty. And I hope I never have to 😍
  • MacOS App Hopelessly Broke

    1

Latest version 3.4.3 is broke. iCloud doesn't sync My Flights from iOS app to macOS app. If it syncs, flights get put under Friends Flights. When new flights are entered to My Flights on macOS, they get put under Friends Flights. Brought up with developers, customer service acknowledged but no update to fix issue. Pretty disappointing to pay almost $50 per year for the Pro version to see the app not work properly.

I would just like to say that it was a great pleasure to travel with Breeze Airlines again. I can confirm that they have the best people in the industry that are willing to work for their customers. From the start of booking your flight to the airport and to the plane their staff makes sure that you are the number 1 priority to them. I would just Love to make a commercial for them to tell everyone about their superior service and their staff. Keep up the great work Breeze Hierarchy as you are making a Good Company Go Great. Absolutely no complaints, the features work flawlessly. As someone who is terrified of flying I flew for the first time in 10 years using Flighty as backup. The flight was delayed but I knew before anyone else at the terminal because I had live updates. Can’t recommend more!
