No longer works as a Safari extension. The company has not updated the app in over a year.

How often do you find yourself needing your VPN live on BOTH you desktop/laptop AND your mobile device at the same time? Probably very infrequently if at all. So why when using the same Apple ID one has to pay for iOS sepearately than for MacOS seems pretty cheesy. Others like ProtonVPN have managed to apply a more common sense approach, might be worth copying ;)

I purchased the premium app, because I had learned that it would now work for Chrome... When I try to upgrade to premium from Chrome, it just takes me to the App Store, with no option to buy directly from Disconnect. Doing it this way, it seems ONLY to protect Safari. Now Safari isn't a bad browser, but I don't use it, at all. To add to the madness, when I click on the settings gear cog, click "Quit disconnect premium" to shutdown and restart the app, it no longer shows protection for even Safari... At this point, I am just done dealing with it. The concept behind this app is great, but it is horriby impemented. The information regarding its capabilities and compatibility on their site is also sub-par, at best. I will be canceling my Premium subscription, and I'm a bit upset that I just wasted $36 on nothing more than a "good idea". I highly recommend that you avoid this product, until it gets to the point of actually functioning as advertised.

Asks you to subscribe to premium. Then puts you in feedback loop asking for authorization pw, and not allowing you to connect to the internet. There are plenty of others suffering through this. Please fix asap.

Downloaded the premium app to my iPad and iPhone and went ahead and subscribed. At first, I had numerous problems staying connected to the VPN when on Wi-Fi. Figured out it was becaue my router settings blocked ALG pass-through. Got it re-configured, and the app works great. Then I installed onto my iMac. and it requires an additional subscription for the same amount. You can't restore your purchases because it only allows protection on the same device type. Glad I learned this before I paid for the annuyal subscription. Cancelling and uninstalling.

It literally won't open. I'm using macOS Big Sur v11.6, late-2013 13" MBP.

This is still my go-to VPN, but after the Big Sur update, UI elements have been rendered invisible. Can this be fixed?

I have Disconnect Premium, but it appears it does not work woth Big Sure. Looking at version history, it looks like this applet has not be updated in 2 years. I would recommend holding off purchasing until developers have updated app to run on lates OS.

Seriously? This is beyond useless... How is it allowed in the app store?

I have this on my iPhone, and now on my mac it's great! I was tired of opening simple webpages that said "this webpage is using significant memory' and this goes a long way to help cut down on tracking pixels, ads, etc!
