Epic Seven

Trash rates for literally anything you do. They make it so hard to to be F2P when the units they release are so busted it screws up the meta. Even if you do spend money getting the actual good units is still rare. Then you have to deal with everybody using said busted unit while SG prepares to release ANOTHER unit to counter the initial busted hero. Might as well walk around in a circle the way they got us trapped in an endless cycle.

The game updated a few days ago and I now cannot get the game to load whatsoever. I’ve lost all of the progress I made and don’t really understand why. I enjoy Epic 7 despite its flaws. However, if the random updates make it literally unplayable…what else can I do?

Game is quite fun and addicting. Biggest issue are the occurring mid arena crashes. When the game crashes it automatically counts a loss. They need to integrate a continue fight option.

Used to be an amazing game with unique features, amazing animations for skills, diverse characters, and a good story. Now its all lackluster subpar garbage. The heroes have no personality and are always women dressed in little to nothing with broken kits who you’d have to spend hundreds of dollars to get or LITERAL CHILDREN who are dressed practically nothing. The meta is always getting broken by some new hero who you’ll end up spend over $500 on if they are a moonlight hero which is INSANE because of how often they come out. The pity is impossible to get via F2P methods. The last few limited heroes have been LITERAL CHILDREN, who for some reason are either wearing nothing like tori (she literally is wearing only ribbons as “clothing”) or fenne who moans every time she uses her S3. For Frida you have her in the most ridiculous pose were she is showing her butt whilst looking at the camera like she’s some sort of influencer trying to promote their only fans even though SHES A CHILD. And the last few moonlight theaters took a turn from dragons and wars connecting and fleshing out the moonlight heroes to high school characters who are supposed to be teenagers but are also sexualized. It’s so underwhelming and stupid. We aren’t even getting any male heroes, we should’ve gotten the ML Taeyou but instead we got ML Hwayoung and ML Peira and probably won’t get ML taeyou for a long while. The worst part is that ML Peira and Hwayoung don’t even look remotely similar to their normal counterparts. ML Peira is also wearing once again, LITTLE TO NOTHING. Worst of all is you’re replacing voice actors like flans original VA because they don’t consent to you using AI versions of their voice. You wouldn’t even sign a basic interm agreement to get them to voice her latest version. You aren’t F2P friendly, you don’t put in any effort to make fun or interesting characters, you sexualize child heroes, you aren’t finishing stories, and you aren’t even releasing any male heroes at this point. Even the skins are mostly female characters and they are all incredibly risky and betray the original characters design. Between the horrible horrible meta, lack of care for story and heroes, and CREEPY people leaving disgusting comments and reviews on heroes, I don’t know what to do with this game. It’s not fun, it’s not new, and it’s just gross what it’s become. All this so you can make money off of the creepy fan base that has overtaken the community. Terrible game and I hope that it turns around.

Game is great

I’ve been playing this game since 2020. I joined for the amazing animation and incredible characters, but now we’re given less and less interesting and unique characters, and more women dressed in nothing but scraps on the sidewalk. This game holds a special place in my heart as I love the turn-based combat and the ever expanding story. Recently however, Smilegate seems to have started a path to prioritizing the creepy part of the community that will pay them more money just to deliver a (hopefully) of age character that breaks the game. Me and my friends have all began losing interest, and I feel many agree with us but aren’t voicing our opinions enough. Epic7 had some of the most fun and engaging characters and stunning designs, and now we get an obligatory male character once every 6 female characters with cardboard personalities. New characters get extra cosmetics before old beloved characters have even gotten a profile sticker. I miss when the game focused around its amazing fantasy element and setting, and the release of the character “Tori” has made me realize that we might just be losing a gacha game that had so much potential, to something that all gacha games seem to fall victim to.

I use to love this game. Its story, character design, gameplay, it all felt like it came from the heart and for once it was a mobile game i could never put down. But after the clustered overwhelming menu change, the level / star up system changed, reaching to ep3 ch4-9 where im stuck on a boss for 3 years that brought the definition of "impossible" to life, and the summon system despite being the most important part of a gache game feels like the worst input made here unlike most. Getting 50 book marks feels like it takes a solid week (thats 10 summons) when you reach as far as i am, and when you finally are able to summon, youll jump in joy to see that 5 star surprise only to realize oh, its the 5 star card that released along with the hero. Thats right when you summon youre pulling for the chance to get a card NO ONE WANTS UNLESS THEY ACTUALLY HAVE THE HERO... or the hero itself. 99% youre getting the card. Genuinely makes me want to delete the game every time.
