Description

Zelle® has partnered with leading banks and credit unions across the U.S. to bring you a fast, safe and easy way to send money to friends and family. Money moves quickly - directly from bank account to bank account. If your bank or credit union offers Zelle, you already have it in your mobile banking app or online banking – if they don’t, the Zelle app will make it easy for you to send money to enrolled Zelle users that already have access through their financial institution. Zelle. This is how money moves®. Using just your recipient’s email address or U.S. mobile number, you can settle up simply and safely with almost anyone you know and trust. Even better, Zelle does not charge any fees to use the service. (Mobile carrier or bank fees may apply). GET STARTED: 1. Download the Zelle app. 2. Enroll using a Visa® or Mastercard® debit card linked to a U.S. checking account; or 3. Enroll your U.S. checking account by using your online banking username and password, if your bank supports this feature*. 4. Choose a person to pay, or request money from, by entering their U.S. mobile number or email address. 5. Confirm the amount and hit send. If they’re already enrolled with Zelle, they’ll typically get the money in minutes. If they aren’t, they will be notified and can follow a few simple steps to complete the payment. *Some banks allow customers to enroll in the Zelle app using their online or mobile banking username and password. Zelle and the Zelle related marks and logos are property of Early Warning Services, LLC You must have a bank account in the U.S. to use Zelle.

I’ve tried to login several times with wifi and with just my mobile data and it will not let me do anything. Useless.

Apparently, if you have a problem logging in and the 2nd level support can not help. My son received an error message trying to log in to our account and called 2nd level support. They wouldn’t speak to him so I had to get involved. BUT! Because they did not believe who I was and their system could not pull up anything to verify my existence I have been blocked from using Zelle. Of course there are no supervision reps available to assist further. I now have to wait up to 2 days to possibly get a call back from management. This is not the way to run a business. I would understand being locked out if I could not verify the questions put to me. But to not be able to ask me a question for verification from their end is not an issue I should be blamed for. Unfortunately, I am now locked out of my account, I can’t verify previous payments, make payments, or receive payments from Zelle. I now have to use another app to make payments to vendors I have been paying for years with Zelle. Some vendors accept nothing but Zelle so I am stuck mailing checks. Oh, and I was told I can’t use the same phone number or bank account information on a new account through Zelle. What am I supposed to do, change my phone number and change banks? Someone in management needs to develop a a better verification process.

The current app has a major bug where you 1) cannot scan your debit card to sign up because the app cannot even sync with your phone camera’s auto focus, and 2) can’t register a debit card (necessary to sign up in the first place) even after you enter all your information properly. Incredibly disappointing for an app that’s supposed to be a Venmo and Cashapp competitor. I’m on an iPhone 15 Pro for reference. The product and engineering team at Zelle need to learn to do their jobs.
