  • Keeps putting account on hold

    You claim to be a “business side phone” provider, but yet when my business makes phone calls inbound/outbound to handle the volume- you keep putting the account on hold. Never have any issues like this with sideline/index.
  • They never solved my billing issue

    I had a monthly plan for which the payment happened through Apple App Store. My last payment was on June 19th. And then I was charged again on July 9th, which is 10 days prior to the expected date. I contacted OpenPhone, they suggested a refund from Apple. After I requested refund my subscription canceled automatically. And my question about why I was charged twice is still not answered. I want to keep the subscription and continue the use. But seems like the technical team has no answers

    Can't add new contacts from their text message. This used to work and no one needed ai help with this. Now I can't do it at all.

    Really enjoying the app. The consistently make updates. This really helps distinguish my business calls when my cell rings. Being able to record calls and leave notes is a great feature. Letting your team share a number is great. This is a solid platform so far.

    For your money and mental health, don’t sign up with this openphone app. They said you won’t be charged till the first 7 days but I opened an account and was blocked on the first day so I requested a refund and they already took the $21. Don’t sign up!!!

    This company & website is very difficult to use. At first - everything seemed straight forward. I was easily able to setup my “free” trial period. However in order to use the text functions - it required me to “register” the phone number. BUT in order to register the phone number - I would need to be on a paid subscription (not on a trial). So I paid my $180 to get this setup. The registration is no joke!!! They need a Fed ID Number (if for business use) - along with sample texts that you may be sending. After going through their registration application - I decided that this is not for me. And instead I would prefer to setup a second line on my cell phone through AT&T. This is where I have an issue with this company… no where on this website or app is a phone number to call. And in further looking over their cancellation policy - they say there is NO REFUNDS. WHAT?!?!? This was not mentioned when the pop up appeared to switch over to a paid membership in order to register the phone number. So now I have had the phone number for a total of 1 day and am out $180.
  • Can’t edit contact details when in a contact.

    Today I can no longer add contact information when clicking on a phone number that calls in. For example, I used to be able to click on the phone number and then edit the name of the contact and other details now I have to go to the contact section to edit that information. It’s very confusing and really frustrating. If you could fix this, I will promise to this star. Thank you.
  • Good but not great

    Beautiful interface, easy to use but very basic and doesn’t have some simple no brainer features like temporary away message/auto-response during meetings or lunchtime or holidays the business is closed. Doesn’t show the time of incoming and outgoing messages. The customer service is slow and only available by email and they are very redundant w their responses and act like whatever is the issue is user error. I signed up a couple months ago and have had to contact them on a weekly basis for technical issues with the system. Very disappointing.
