  • Great Product!

I have been using this app for more than 3 years now and it allows me as a developer to produce good enough looking application icons, banners to kick off projects without having to watch 20 tutorials.
  • Instead of making it better, you made it worse and make the old version the paid one

Instead of putting work into the program and adding incentives to make a pay plan worth it, you removed features we had from the program and to go back to what we had you want an insane amount of money. That’s such a scummy tactic. Screw this I’m going to affinity design 2 instead. 1 time $30 fee I ahead of $120 A YEAR. A shame because this was a great program, but not worth it. Update: they’re going to lock the files you’ve already made so you can only export to pdf and jpg. Get out while you can
  • From free to $10 a month

If you are able to pay for it, this is a great app. I’m sure their developments will make it even better. In that aspect, five stars. But for an app to go from free to $10 per month is a slap in the face for sure. It’s just so disappointing that the developers chose to do a subscription only model.
  • New Free Limitations

I enjoyed using the app previously, but today I opened it to find that you can now only have three images at once. While I assume you could export your projects, then re-import them constantly, it's a blatant inconvenience that's suddenly been shoehorned in.
  • Good app for Vector Drawing

I’ve been using this app for a few years. I mainly use it to create vector drawings and to customize fonts. The app has a lot of good features, once you learn how to use it. As a free app it suited me fine as a hobbyist. With the new restrictions to use and being required to purchase Linearity Pro to export SVG files I am disappointed. The remove background feature works well, but the Auto Trace feature seldom produces usable images.
  • Untrustworthy business practices

The app stopped getting useful features years ago, and the interface has just been getting worse/buggier. As if that weren't enough, they're now paywalling basic features (like SVG export), effectively locking all your files within the app unless you give them money. Do not trust this company.
  • Can't export PDF and other

This app now is more like a beta.. and you already limiting its so much? I can't export PDF and can't create artboards? And price is 15 USD? LOL. BYE forever! I'm converting now all to Illustrator and there is NO way back after. I hope you business just lose very fast after this change.
  • DO NOT USE, MADE HUGE NEGATIVE CHANGES SINCE BULK OF REVIEWS

It used to be good. But then, they decided they wanted money. Don't get me wrong: it's OK to want money, as a company. I get it, there's stuff you want to make, and that's an investment, it takes time. But SCREW THE WAY THIS WAS DONE. First off: The crazy pricing. They give you two options: Either pay $120 a year or $15 a month - which is ridiculous for a non-feature complete program that does not interface with many other programs and is quite buggy - or, well, have fun only having three files. And when they got negative feedback for doing that - well, huh. Today they decided to make it even worse somehow, by trying to restrict SVG exports for the free plan. That's right, this is barely even a vector graphics program anymore! Now, fortunately this didn't work right away, but it seemed like they wanted to pull this with literally no warning. So if you wanted to not use this, they wanted everyone to cough up the $15 to get their files off. Yeah. This is the lowest of the low of predatory business practices. I'm gonna see if I can get Apple to take a look at this app and remove the Editor's Choice thing they put on, because clearly it doesn't deserve it anymore. If you're looking at the above 4.0 star review average (which hopefully this garbage doesn't get to keep): Yeah this was all old when this app was actually good and honest. But, now, ha. There's no more of that, here. I hope this business and app crashes and burns for that one change alone, I'm uninstalling this shovelware once I get everything in an actually stable format, and before you put in your copy-and-paste response, Linearity, I hope you deeply consider what you tried to do to your userbase and actually do something to try to fix your overpriced garbage. But, well. I know you probably won't, so eat this and your other rightfully deserved 1-star reviews that are certainly coming your way.
  • Buggy, and they reduced funcionality

This thing is ok, but has a beta quality feel to it. I used from the beginning as they migrated from free to paid starter edition. They just notified me that my $12 a month will no longer export SVG and only 1024 x 1024 bitmaps. So, buh-bye. $12 a month means I should get real functionality.
  • App Updates

I have been using this app to design cut files to use with my laser cutter. I was very happy with the ease of use and that it required minimal time to learn how to use all of the tools. That being said, I initially picked this app because it was listed as free, but they have made several updates that now require you to purchase the Pro plan. They have now made yet another change that no longer allows you to export as an SVG file UNLESS you purchase the Pro plan. I will now have to find and learn different design software as the annual fee was not there when I initially signed on over a year ago.
