  • Generally pretty good, but could use some improvement

As I am writing this, I still haven’t finished the c# section, but I can already tell the courses themselves are pretty good. My one gripe is the wait for your lives to regenerate after you miss a question, which can take up to four hours per life if you don’t pay using money for the subscription or the in-app currency for a refill.

This app is oddly similar to Duolingo. However, it is still a very good app to learn coding and they have a wide variety of coding languages. I find Python the best one since it's very easy to read.

I absolutely love this app I initially got the app because I was struggling in my classes and thought it would help and I can honestly say it has more than helped. I have learned more in less than 24 hours on this app than I have in a month of classes. The best part about it for me is its hands on it doesn’t just give a bunch of tips and if you are stuck it will explain more detailed and if you get a question wrong it will explain why. The quizzes are also ai generated to match your learning level. I also normally hate subscriptions with apps but this one is worth it and it’s only 10$ a month just stick to it everyday to retain more information. If you ever used Duolingo the learning process is similar it’s like a learning game.

  • Good app, needs a widget and more frequent streak pauses.

I have been enjoying Sololearn as a tool that is similar to Duolingo with its lesson UI but makes it easy to learn code. My main issue has been keeping up with my streak since notifications don’t usually pop up on my screen a widget reminding me constantly that my streak has not been revived today would be greatly appreciated.

This app is probably the most perfect tool for anyone who is looking to learn how to code. I found it very engaging. It’s almost like a game that you play, but it’s the same time you’re making sense of how to code and learning some very important but also very basic rules for writing Python.. I love math and I love algebra so I was able to pick up on some things quickly, however, things can get a bit tricky later on if you don’t have access to the AI that runs within the app ($9.99 a month) or something that can remind you of some of the rules that you learned earlier. During these times, it’s easy to get a little bit frustrated. But I honestly believe that if anyone’s looking to code, this is probably one of the best ways to go.. For me, I went to ChatGPT (I have a subscription), and use it and use it to get past some of my sticking points. Once I saw how well ChatGPT worked for code I just started running with it. If I didn’t have to have ChatGPT for work, I would definitely be getting the pro subscription for this app so that I can learn how to code more professionally If you’re serious about learning how to code so that you can make money this is probably a good investment

The app is good. I’m using the free pro trial. The is an added feature o using the AI assistant to explain why your answer is correct/incorrect and there is a limit of approx. 5 uses before you have to pay more to utilize this feature. Also the free version of this app will require you to utilize you own coding environment to test codes you write. Not a bad app at all. Just wish the explanations were more in depth.
  • Really good!
