  • Sleep affects EVERYTHING

    I knew I had to improve my sleep quality / quantity and this app has done so much to bring visibility to the process. I start every morning by opening the app to see how I slept the night before. Counting hours asleep and REM has added that competitive, quantitative component that counting steps have for many of us. Now if I could just figure out how to get more REM!

    I wear my watch every night and don’t always register stats. Apple sleep usually captures data. Strange. App is very cool though. Powerful information. Very helpful.

    Ive been using this app to track my sleep habits and daily activity. Recently i got an alert telling me i had an AFib event, without any noticeable indicators to me. I got in to see a cardiologist as soon as possible. Sure enough i have AFib and am mow being evaluated by my doc to get me on a permanent care plan. If it were not for this app and my Apple Watch. I would have possibly found out about this condition until it became more severe.
  • Great App, recent problem recording DEEP SLEEP

    I have used this app for years and love it! I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5 as over the past few months it appears to fail to record deep sleep and changes typically recommended to increase sensitivity for deep sleep do not remedy the problem. I suspect it may be a problem with a upgrade change made. None-the-less it is a great program with options to adjust the app recorded sleep if you suspect it is registering your wakefulness incorrectly.

    I used to have a FitBit HR that tracked my sleep and I had the AppleWatch for a while before I tried this, so I have had some experience with sleep tracking. This is hands down the best sleep tracker I have ever had. Other sleep trackers including the one in the Health App will tell you “you had this much of this kind of sleep” but they don’t tell you what it works out to in terms of how well-rested that actually makes you. This one does! It even has that sleep debt/sleep bank indicator, which is really handy. Because I bought this and I run my family plan, my husband can use it to. He has sleep apnea and while he uses a CPAP we are concerned about his condition changing over time as he grows older, so it’s really good to have something like this that tracks trends in sleep quality as well as respiration and oxygenation. I also appreciate any app where you can pay once and have it forever instead of having some kind of subscription, and it is very clear about not sharing your data unless you explicitly tell it to.

    My first sleep app because I never thought that any of them would be all that accurate. But if you wear your watch (I’ve only worn my watch) the results are very accurate and informative. In addition, my sleep is improving already. Very pleased with this app thus far.
  • App Doesn’t Do Anything Without a Watch and the company does not accept refunds

    Falsely advertised as working well without a watch but doesn’t do anything automatically. If it does work without a watch, you need to manually use the app every night to configure anything which no one has time for. The company also does not accept refunds even on the first day of requesting a refund — feels like a scam and apple is also culpable.
