  • Update ruined Hatch

    The most recent update ruined both of our Hatch’s. Nothing better than a baby product shutting off continuously in the middle of the night waking children up by abrupt silence. When I go into the app, I get the circle of death that is stuck on connecting. We have used Hatch products for over 4 years with no issues, we upgraded to the Hatch + for both kids because of the clock with also no issues until last night.
  • Complicated App

    I have a first generation Hatch. LOVE it. Easy to use app interface. Product works great. Fast forward 2 years, and I need a second one. All I can find is the Hatch 2nd Gen. Terrible interface for the SAME app. There are like 15 steps/buttoms/adjustments just so you can make a “ring” or a schedule. They also try to push their paid sounds and other things in the app. Lastly, the interfaces for the 1st gen and the 2 gen on the app ARE NOT THE SAME. Thus, you’re needing to know TWO different types of interfaces within the same app. Overly complex interface for the 2nd generation. Do not recommend the Hatch anymore.
  • Another ruined bedtime because of a terrible app

    Bedtime is hard enough. This is by far not the first time I could not connect my hatch during bedtime. After a very hard day, the last thing any parent needs is an integral part of bedtime to not work because of failed technology. One time is understandable, things happen. I’m at the point where I will be telling any new mom to take this off of their registry. You have a hold on the market for baby sound machines and nightlights. Please improve your app. Even on a good night the app is incredibly slow. Or at least make the device itself more user friendly. It’s a light and white noise. Why are the buttons not more user friendly… sincerely, a very tired, very frustrated mom.
  • Won’t reconnect

    Magically at bedtime after owning the device for a year and a half nearly two years it disconnected itself and now can’t get it reconnected no matter what I do even after wasting 30 minutes of my time. I can get the device to power on but can’t get it reconnected to the app after this update!
  • A little frustrating

    It’s good when it works until the company has AWS issues and you can’t connect to the app and therefore can’t get to your saved settings for your Rest+ on the app. So frustrating when your kiddo is used to one specific sound. It’s so hard to change the settings on this thing without the app and we either can’t get the light to turn off while keeping the sound, or can’t find the right sound. Overall just get a sound machine that gives you better options for manually setting the device. It’ll save you big headaches.

    Recent update causes hatch to not connect. Now glitches off and on every few minutes. Headache when trying to use it to put a toddler to sleep. Get an update out ASAP to fix whatever what was thought was fixed.
  • Garbage

    The older models worked fine the new model we got for our second born is garbage the new controls are more suited for a space shuttle not a sound machine. It’s not user friendly at all but was able to get it to work for a little over a week now it’s 2 hours past bedtime I’m on my 5th reset of the device and still won’t connect. If that doesn’t sound fun with a screaming baby buy a different machine.
